Steve you should buy the double attack. I bought the grand master I can’t detect coffee from the note. I find it spicy on my skin. I when ahead switched it double attack instead. Blockade maybe this summer. Have u tried the ruy Lopez ( mind games)? It smells amazing!
Just ordered a bottle after using up a sample over a few days span. This stuff evolves throughout the day. Starts off with fresh leafy green and juicy mango, then a dried mango slice vibe after the greenness of the tomato leaf fades away. The oud note is clean and woody with a very subtle smokiness that comes out after the 4-5 hour mark on my skin. Zero similarity to Aventus imo.
@@ge373 own two batches and blew through samples of three others. They’re nothing alike. Aventus is every day in sweatpants while Blockade is dressed up for dinner or vacation mode.
You know, I love this and am looking to cop a bottle, but I have a sample from Neiman Marcus and I just realized that it does seem to be Creed Aventus with an added Mango note.
I’m cursed to not live near any Neiman or Nordstrom or anything like that. But I did get my nose on this one and had to buy. Don’t buy to many niche but if it’s something this good I’ll spend up for it.

Alexandria fragrances just shipped me their Barricade . It’s their version of this!! Just received it and it’s smell like a cut mango. lol I’m going to let it sit for a bit.
@@BlessedDelight1 I've seen a lot of people say they can't smell mango in the AF version. I think it probably needs to mature. But someone put the accuracy at 75% which, if it's good on it's own, is okay, but if you really want accuracy, sounds like it may not be this one.
Just sprayed on from my new decant of J’adoube. Quite feminine in the opening imo. As it’s drying down it leans back into unisex category a little more it’s really nice. Did you think it was feminine at first?

For me, the dry down was all heavy suede. I low key hated it

What mango? It's literally another Aventus clone. Zero mango. Everyone needs to sample before buying a bottle. Seriously. So disappointed.
I tried it at Neiman Marcus and it definitely has that mango note. Sorry your nose can't pick it up cause it's incredible
