Matheran - Asia’s only automobile free hill station.
The most inexpensive way to reach Matheran is Via Local Train : Board any local train from Central line and get down at Neral Station .
If you are travelling via Road : Take the Mumbai Pune Highway and Exit at Karjat and Continue till Neral, Once the ghat starts you will reach Dasturi Point
Parking Rates : 60\- Two Wheeler and 100\- Four Wheeler

From Neral Station you can go By Share E Taxi till Dasturi Point.
The price for the same is 100/- Per Person
From Dasturi Point you have to park your vehicles, and enter Matheran .
Entry Fees is 60/- Adult and 30/- Children
Once you pay the entry fees you have three options to Reach Matheran
Toy Train From Aman Lodge to Matheran : 45\- Adult II CLASS and 305\- Adult I CLASS *make sure you take the ticket early to avoid missing the train
Horse Riding \ Human Cart : Please Bargain properly as it is literally non worth the price also the journey is very uncomfortable
Lastly, you can always go there walking its hardly 20-25 minutes road and there are many scenic spots where you can stop by and click pictures.
MATHERAN IS WORTH EXPLORING VIA WALKING BECAUSE IT HAS SO MUCH BEAUTY TO OFFER THAT CANNOT BE DONE BY OTHER MODES.

If you want to go by your own car there is parking at Dasturi Road you have to use the same route as the two wheeler and Parking Cost is 100/- 😊
