The one thing that’s obvious… the lack of ESD a protection… everyone does this I know, handling PCBs as shown here is not best practice. When I was with Rolls Royce I saw a study based upon X-RAYS taken of the structure of some of the key components after the PCBs had been handled by humans in various different trials. Results showed that there was a definite thinning and weak spots building up in the structure of the wafer and the layers such that the more you handle a PCB despite the fact it still works, the PCB will break down and fail a lot earlier than the FMEA would suggest. Working in aircraft systems you had to really pay attention to this … ok as in this situation in the video, they are just testing samples as in proof of concept so not really an issue. Obviously you should never handle any devices in production in this manner. But thought I would highlight the point.

Just gain some knowledge about electronics 🙂 It is good to start from simple passives (like capacitors, resistors, etc.), then discreets (e.g. transistors), ICs, microcontrollers. Learn what parameters are important, how they influence circuit, how to connect those components to realize particular function, how to design, simulate and test circuits. Send CV 😉
