Just spent two weeks in Colorado camping with ours . My wife loves it . We put our kitchen in it . Also used the walls on second canopy to block the wind and have some privacy. Have the side part but didn't use it this time . Also have the ten by ten screen house we like .
Have a connectent, only no red , all Grey and dark Grey. Modified for slant leg or straight let. I live and camp where it rains a lot. I wanted a roomy tent and canopy to sit under in heavy rain. I'm 511. The tent fits my 61/2 ft cot off to side, has a floor. I have a table and a chair in tent also a Mr buddy heater, there is substantial room to stand up , this was important because coffee can bathroom is important in a rain storm. My canopy has screens and several full sides. It basically gives me a full large enclosed area. I could potentially camp in canopy alone, but I used the side tent as a room having additional open space under canopy. I also have military camp netting that covets the entire canopy and tent, which gives additional insulation when needing heating. The all Grey is more concealed. So this is a decent value, it works for my camping.
I have the sames exact setup! It's great! Goes up quick. I now have three of those large tents. I cut a tarp into triangles and Velcro'ed them on the ceiling. 😉
Sasquatch Phil - great name - we just picked up the Ozark canopy and the Ozark 6 man instant tent - I'm thoroughly impressed with the tent - thanks for the review - sub left 👍
I haven't used my Connectatent yet, but I did spray it with waterproof sealant so I am hoping that will help with any leakage issue. Also, I will be getting an 8 X 10 straight leg canopy so I'm wondering if I use the 8ft side would that help with the gapping that you were talking about. I'll test it out when canopy arrives.
@@larryjohns8097 Late reply but this definitely doesn't work with ANY 10x10 canopy. This canopy must have the + shaped supports holding the roof up. This will not work with a single middle beam material support as the roof clips on to 4 separate "legs" that support the canopy.

That’s a great idea

With the vented ceiling on the canopy tent, would you say the canopy cover (the yellow one) blocks out the wind enough?l
What's the wind rating like on that type of set up m
What happens in the wind?
The tent it’s self move a bit but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere in the rain and wind I had it is as long as it’s staked down properly
Would most any 10x10 straight leg canopy work do you think ?
I found a heavy duty 10x10 canopy i think might be better
@@larryjohns8097 it might? I would check dimensions of both canopies. Sorry for the late response i have been extremely sick!

Mine didn't make it through rain. I think the weight of the tent combined with the rain caused the to to collapse on one side 😐
O no that’s no good how hard was it raining?
No it dont
