@@GophersVids Armed combat: Block button while close to the opponent initiates a clinch. You've probably figured out clinching by this point, but clinching is when you move too close to an enemy and he grabs a hold of you. When he does just tap the use button and you'll win almost always. With clinch master you can even screw up with the timing a bit and still win the clinch. Probably one of the most useful moves in the game since it gives you a free hit on the enemy when he staggers. It'll make you a god at hand-to-hand and single target combat. Too bad clinching isn't really explained at any time in the game afaik.
For people having problems with direction of the attack on mouse(especially from below): you have to look were sword is positioned after each strike, for example you doing slash from upright down to the left, then after that slash, your sword is already in downleft position, so you don't have to move your mouse even more down left (if combo requires you to slash from downleft next, it even messes up the combo actually) so all you have to do is just click attack when you finished your first slash.
I think learning Master strikes is the most important thing to learn to fight. I been killing enemies only with masterstrike alone. even in in hardcore mode Anyways loving the series, I hope you upload another extra episod of KCD in the Future.

So, as near as I can tell, your stats like Charisma display as whole numbers but are actually using decimal places. You can be at 8.6 Charisma and it will show 9. You can then add a full point, but lose a tenth of a point for something minor and it will still show 9 but you'll actually be at 9.5. This shows most clearly when you are checking high charisma clothing to see the effect it has. Sometimes it will show blue to indicate an improvement, but that improvement won't be enough to change the number itself. Also, with regard to clothing, it appears that the visibility, conspicuousness and charisma stats of the clothing only matter if the clothing is visible. Cover it up with something else and the effects are discounted by the game engine.

well, a thing to remember: the combos don't work with shields. especially not the longsword ones. took me a while to figure that out.
only some of the the shortsword combos work with shields, but the game doesn't tell you which ones they are.
I was so wishing he would open up the practice weapons option and look at all the weapon choices, including hand to hand. I did it a while ago and leveled up in three areas.
Try to find that energy potion recipe, crockerel it's called I believe, for times like 14:55 when you need to save time, just dont drink too much of it.
Captain Bernard is a grumpy old git!
Minor gripe. It's pronounced "noy-hof", not "new-hof".
You've even heard the NPCs pronounce it correctly, multiple times.
That said, great vid as always :)
Don't rush the uzhitz quest. Do the side quests/activities in rattay, you can fail or never get a chance to do some decent side quests..... Be careful and save a lot 😋
"I've got to lear how to do clinches first"
Please read the tutorial, Gopher.
Henry sure does overtime.
Go see Hans, go see Hans, go see Hans, go see Hans.
Great video.
Did it refuse to go forward at 46:22 for anyone else
This happened all the way to 46:39. After that there was no more problems.
i was expecting you to get yelled at by sir bernard hahaha. On my playthrough i took my damn time in during the quest and when i got back to sir bernard to report he basically scolded me for not check in on him every now and then. hahaha he even said "ofcourse it's because you're a damn peasant" that's not verbatim but it was something to that effect
34:45. As much as I like the series and Gophers comments, I must say that I have yet to get used to that face Bernard often makes. It's like he's suffering from constipation or something...
I have expirienced that thing with the "sharpness" too... The game supddenly changes some graphic card setting or something; couldn't figure it out... but that happened and happens to me on a regular basis...
It happens when you are drunk. There's a mod to add more options to graphic settings but using it removes the option to use HD texures.
@@Leubast is it really only if you are drunk? I guess I'm drinking a lot of wine.... :D
@@Leubast true true... I didn't recognise it till I knew... THX
Best way to train is just to do the combo and master strike drills over and over.
41:45 - that i can handle... he really got a bit cocky, as Capitan Bernard said himself.
Also gopher, stay on your horse, even in combat. If you are mounted, it makes you much harder to kill and you can cycle back and forth to kill your enemies, even when outnumbered. All you have to do is charge and swing, Rohirrm style.
What awaits you in Uzhitz is inevitable. No changing what you’ll find there, even if you teleported there immediately.
I was hoping for a montage with "I'm still standing" playing in the background ;)
I wonder if hes realized that combos apply to weapon type, not sure if he has a long sword or shortsword equiped
