This radio station on Gta San Andreas influenced me to leave my boring life working in telesales in Manchester England to Live in Newquay the sunny surfing side of Cornwall. I learned how to surf and play slap bass, I remember a lot of sunsets on western beach playing Kjah on my phone next to a fire with mates a beer and a fatty. Good Times!

The Radio had soul back in GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas. GTA 4 and V became a parody of itself and started memeing too hard. Before the memes were subtle and a dig at society in the real world, now it's so blatantly obvious like it's taking the piss out of its own games instead of drawing parallels to the real world. The only redeeming meme in GTAV was Sprunk, eCola and iFruit and the advertising found across the game, that felt like classic GTA too me, it's immersive and the jokes across the radio stations were actually pretty hilarious. I also miss where in the old games if a major game event just happened, the radio DJ, no matter the station would stop and talk about that event like its breaking news and depending on the host they would be very serious or have a sarcastic response. In GTAV they always make the situation sound like a joke which really annoyed me...it takes away from the "weight" of what you just done in the story as a parody or a joke. I want classic GTA radio bought back with the same vibe, it's part of the atmosphere, we spend nearly 90% of the game driving around and we grow to love the hosts and their individual personalities, some are funny, some are serious, some are nuts and some are boring and would crack a dry joke but would actually be clever and worthy of a laugh... THIS IS IMMERSION! Just like in real life we come in so many different flavors.

what i love about this radio is that I can listen to it wherever I am in the San Andreas map - be it in Los Santos, or the countryside, or the LV strip, or somewhere in SF - and it always seems to fit in, or atleast never feels out of place. like I can't imagine listening to Radio LS in SF, or K-Rose in LV etc. but this radio in particular fits in wherever I am in the map.
Whoever put this together for rockstar is knows their shit about reggae. And biggups to the developers to know that they if you you going to do a reggae channel you need to do it right.

I came back here for not just nostalgia but i gotta give GTA SA and some radio stations like this an thank you for helping my life throughout my depression around when I was back in high school. After listening to this whole radio station, started given me vibes when I used to do those taxi missions for 100% completion back somewhere in 2014-2015 but never gotten 100% cuz sold my 360 along with all games including this one for new gen consoles like the Xbox one at the time. Now, I got this game again but on definitive edition digitally since I got the xbox series x on Christmas 2022. I’ve finished up the storyline missions and now I’m planning to get 100% completion again. I finally did the taxi missions again and came here for that. So thank you GTA SA and K jah west radio :)

I play this when I do the 12 side missions to get better stats an cash. Just finished paramedics for max health on the new definitive addition. Totally amazing graphics. Some differences an glitches,, like you don't gain health in ambulance or shotgun in cop car. There's a few other things as I go on. But honestly this is my favorite GTA, I'm 21 an been playing this game since before I was 3! I love this game forever. Ive introduced so many people to it, I've even bought it for people to play. That's how much I love this game. OG

I play this when I do the 12 side missions to get better stats an cash. Just finished paramedics for max health on the new definitive addition. Totally amazing graphics. Some differences an glitches,, like you don't gain health in ambulance or shotgun in cop car. There's a few other things as I go on. But honestly this is my favorite GTA, I'm 21 an been playing this game since before I was 3! I love this game forever. Ive introduced so many people to it, I've even bought it for people to play.
