She died in the time of segregation, and the owner of Hollywood Forever refused to allow her burial in his cemetery. Instead, she was laid to rest at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery. Hollywood Forever was purchased by a new owner in 1998, who asked Hattie's family if they wanted her remains moved as was her last wish, but her family wanted her to remain where she was. A memorial to this very talented actress was erected at Hollywood Forever to honor her wish to be buried there. That is what you saw.
It was so fun to watch you eat the Hello Fresh meal because my maggot and I both do a Happy Dance (danse macabre, perhaps?) when we eat something delish, too. The two of us are going to the Oddities and Curiosities in Portland, OR in October because I saw your vid and it looked like so much fun (maggot is going to Portland a couple of weeks earlier to see MCR in concert!). My maggots loved Nightmare when they were tiny and watched the vid so much that they finally started to watch in French and sang all the songs and recited all the dialog in French from memory.
Idk if you’re into this kind of thing, but something tells me you are lol. Willam Sonoma finally has their pumpkin spice dish and hand soap back online! It’s my absolute favorite to use in the fall. A must try!

I keep trying to tell you guys. Ceramics crafters still have and pour the vintage molds! That ghost holding a pumpkin so so many of them have it and can just pour one for you! Normally unpainted is like 14 or so bucks and painted maybe 20ish . These are totally available you just have to look for local ceramics groups and ask!
