Tip: the filter envelope delay (which you explain around 2:18:00) can be adjusted from the first filter page using [FUNC] + (A). You don't need to go to the second filter page to tweak it. I only learned this myself today.

    Useful tip with mute mode:
The Pattern mutes are affected by the temp save/undo function. This is great when using the Ctrl+All function.
    1. Mute the kick in pattern mute mode
    2. Use ctrl+all (TRK+param) to mangle other parameters
    3. func+no to bring everything back to the temp save state including the now-unmuted kick.

At 40:00, CH.LEN is "Change Length", not "Channel Length". From the manual:
CH.LEN (Change Length) controls for how long the active pattern plays before a cued or chained pattern begins to play. This setting is important when, for example, you set M.LEN to INF. If you do not make any CH.LEN setting, the pattern plays infinitely, and the next pattern is thus not cued. By default a cued pattern change happens at the end of the pattern (CH.LEN set to OFF).

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah I Know. Every time I see CH it's usually channel on pretty much the rest of the world, in the video I say channel but I was trying to say "change". You cannot get everything 200% right specially when you record, talk, follow a script, monitor yourself ( video and audio ). I've tried.
Usually when you record a 10 min video you usually get everything right, but on a 2hs video you get tired and the mind plays tricks. Unfortunately YT removed the function of adding notes after uploading and publishing.
Once is out, there is no going back :S

I suppose that's we us newbies would like someone who spends all day doing to come up with a 2 hour tutorial, that's why there's so many 2nd digitakts and digitones forsale, people find it quite difficult to get the workflow, and don't have the time to do bit by bit, the world we live in has a very short attention span, or a mortgage to pay off which means their working.....if theirs a complete deep dive into the syntakt we newbies would be muchly appreciated. I will keep searching and encourage the musos who do gave time to learn the syntakt to maybe share there knowledge 😉

I was afraid that the 64mb storage would be a problem, but a) thats just the RAM, b) 127 slots has been more than enough for me so far. In fact, Ive only got 52 samples slots used up currently and maybe 15 in actual use in my project atm.

I have watched this and jumped around the chapters but can’t seem to get an answer on this. If you have a long sample loop on one trig, how can you make it play in full while the rest of the trigs play a 16 step loop?

Hi there, are you planning to make a tutorial for the 2nd generation?

Yes, I need to buy it first and I have no money to spend right now. But, I guess I will do it in a little while.

@@XNBeatsMusic I bet you could get one free or borrowed from Elektron or a music store that you will then promote 🤔

@@r-e-s-o-n-a-n-t Yeah, not really. The channel is too small right now. And I don't hype products, or do reviews, for now at least. I create courses really. So, stores and manufacturers are not really interested.
But...if the channel keeps growing they will at some point.

@@XNBeatsMusic ok! 35k following is still damn good. Perhaps patreon and having more content there. In any case thanks for sharing the tutorials

Select the sample -> Go to SRC -> there you find LEV.
You can change the volume with the "H-Control"
