I suppose on the Big Ten point of view, we wanted Rutgers as #13 and then needed #14 for obvious reasons. Cant go after schools that just joined a new Conference, so I guess Maryland made the most sense if we wanted to keep everything Sane Geographically (meaning no West Virginia in the Big 12 or Missouri in the SEC type Bulls***).
What wouldve eventually happened if Maryland wasnt Bailed out? It didnt seem like it was dire enough to do anything about it. Its not like theres a big difference in Basketball and I dont think Maryland could do worse in Football. But outside of Sports, pretty much all of those crucial areas the Big 10 is better than the ACC in. So that had to have played a major role on Maryland itself saying Yes to the Big 10.
West Virginia in the Big 12 makes me violent for some reason. I do understand it's just college football but damn. Missouri you can justify with a little pretzel logic in that Mizzou was in the Confederacy. I just hope they don't put Rutgers and Maryland both in Ohio State's division and dump Illinois over. They've never played either school yet they would instantly be two of the six common opponents and essentially become mini rivals. Meanwhile, they won't play Mich. St. for 4 straight years.
Well, I guess the Terps made the right move😂😂

This is likeing the Ravens to face the Steelers every four years.
Don't think it's a good pick for the Big Ten. Maryland much better than Rutgers, the fact Rutgers will be in the Big Ten is a JOKE! Bad call Big Ten!
Goodbye Maryland......:)
Dog/cat meat maybe? :-)
