I have the Guardian 3. SUPER sharp right out of the box and probably the best jimping I’ve ever experienced on a blade. The Nimbus finish is beautiful too!
I love my Guardian 3 Wharnie. I can't wait to check out the Guardian 3.2. I am hoping they come out with one in a Nimbus finish soon. I'll also keep an eye out for a 3.2 wharnie which I am not sure if they will make but I am hopeful they will. Great to see Jason doing interviews!
Cheers for the video mate. I have 4 of the guardian series. All great knives and all came hair popping sharp. I think the next one will be the 4.5 or the 4 in the sheep's foot.
The video brings me more to buy the Bradford Guardian 3 over other knifes like Giant Mouse Gfm1, White River M1, Smith&Sons Shoul and MKM Makro all these are great knifes but i like the "philosophy" from the Bradford company
thats not really true. m390 is a not easy to grind and it's not tough at all. 52100 grinds like butter and it's tough as nails even at high hardness. AEBL grinds very easily and it's very tough as well. Toughness and machinability aren't really related, but sure any vanadium steel will be more difficult to grind and some of them are very tough steels. 3v for instance. 1v is tougher than 3v but much easier to grind. 4v isn't as tough as 3v but it's harder to grid. 10v is a nightmare to grind but it's still way tougher than m390. So.... you're wrong. Shaving sharp and popping hair are two totally different things. Not even close. Straight razors pop hairs. My dullest knife can still shave. Fixed blades don't need to be popping hair sharp. but if they can't even shave hair, then you have a problem. Edges that can pop hairs will be too delicate for hard use.
Bradford is my favorite American knife company
Love the Guardian 3.
Nice to see some more DLT vids. Keep it up!

Worst cut I've ever had was a guardian 3. Insane sharp.

How does one get such low hairline?
Great sheath??? Not even close. Its a sheath, and it holds the knife, but not very impressive
