What an amazing organization. Their model should be followed!
This is a beautiful thing to do for the community.
They should do this for the homeless and low income who my be working but since wages are so low they may still be unable to afford rent.
They have a tiny home community for homeless in Detroit

@@Ms.AshleyHoney It’s because trans woman of color have the highest rate of homelessness and are more likely to be killed in a hate crime then other groups and are heavily discriminated against in the workforce and discriminated against by there own people and family. I agree this should be available for all homeless and under advantaged individuals but it has nothing to do with pushing the so called “mainstream trans” trans is far from mainstream and are hated by most of society and abandoned and kicked out of there homes at a young age especially in the black community where there family is less likely to accept them.

Shameful? At the very least this woman saw a problem in her community and did something about it. There are plenty of charities for homeless mothers with small children that you could donate to if you aren’t already. I personally donate $25 each to a diverse range of 10 charities in the US and Africa, so $250 monthly which is actually not that expensive considering how much each dollar provides people with food, surgeries, amenities, live stock, or even desks for school children.
