Lagu ‘TIRANI’ memiliki makna yang dalam, sesuai dengan arti kata dari judulnya, yaitu kekuasaan yang digunakan dengan semena - mena. “Lagu ini bercerita tentang sepasang kekasih, yang salah satunya memiliki karakter arogan, namun pasangannya berusaha untuk sabar dan menutup kesakitan hatinya dengan senyuman, hingga akhirnya dia merasa terjebak dalam sebuah Tirani dan memilih untuk mengakhiri hubungannya,” jelas Hendro Saky sebagai pencipta lagu Tirani.
Hendro Saky mengaku lagu ini spesial ia ciptakan untuk Lesti, yang kala itu sedang berada dalam sebuah masalah percintaan dan berakhir dengan putus cinta. “Pertamakali dikasih lagu ini, yang pasti aku salfok sama liriknya, karena liriknya aku banget, jadi mendalaminya cepet, liriknya benar-benar dalem banget... daleeeem bangeet... curhaat hahaha,” papar pelantun yang piawai menyanyikan lagu-lagu sendu ini.
Tak hanya lirik yang menyayat hati, namun alunan saxophone dan nuansa dangdut klasik berbalut sentuhan slowrock, membuat perasaan-perasaan lagu ini, seperti kemarahan, kegelisahan, kekhawatiran dan kekecewaan tersampaikan. Begitu pula dari sisi vokal Lesti yang mampu memberikan penekanan-penekanan dengan sesuai porsinya, sehingga yang mendengarnya mampu terbawa dalam kondisi tersebut.
Tim A&R 3D Entertainment pun juga mengacungi jempol untuk kemampuan Lesti mengeksplore vokalnya dalam menyanyikan lagu Tirani, yang memiliki kesulitan cukup tinggi ini. “Menurut gw Lesti itu sangat storyteller, meski terlihat mungil, tapi sekali mengeluarkan suara, langsung melesat naik tingkat, ia juga mampu memberikan warna yang berbeda, sehingga lagu yang berdurasi 7 menit ini tidak terasa lama,” tutur Mhala, perwakilan A&R 3D Entertainment.
