Bunnies fan aye! Love the league and union. Nice being back in Coogee did see your last one. I’ve done the Coogee to Bondi walk but a few years back now. Thanks again.
Yeh Rabbitohs til I die. That Coogee to Bondi walk is great. A must for any tourist I reckon.
Love Coogee. It looks beautiful. Thankyou for posting
Coogee my old hood. Very busy these days. A favourite destination for travellers.
Ages since I've walked along CBR.
Remember the days when every suburb had a VideoEzy, Blockbuster, or Civic video shop ? At least back then, you had to actually go to the shop for your DVD/VHS, and get some exercise...not like now where you just click and sit on your ass for half a day and watch Pay TV. 🙄
Nice vid mate, I enjoyed it.
Got a notification a few days ago, but forgot to watch it. 👍
Jim.
Correct. Actually that chicken shop I paused on used to be a Blockbuster. There was another joint around the corner in Alfreda st. But don’t remember what company that was. Btw I’ve since been told that the joint with the white lattice work was Mel Gibsons joint. My mother remembered. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@hwtours You can always rely on your Mum...she probably had a thing for Mel. 😆
1:35 Brings you to Randwick , and on out south for Menai where I worked it hasn’t Changed much
The sky looks so blue! What a day for a walk! Like all the interesting looking places to eat. Yum BBQ! That southern part with the homes reminds me of San Francisco, especially with the uphill walk and views of the water. Even the vegetation looks familiar. Thanks for the share!
They are Sister Cities. They also share very similar histories. Both founded in 1700s. Both had Gold Rushes only a few years apart. The hills, the bay, the harbour, the list goes on. Must be why I feel so comfortable when I’m in San Francisco. Thanks for watching. 🙏
@@hwtours Thats interesting!
I lived on Beach Street in 97 /98
Kebab or Gyros Shop is Gone . It had fantastic Greek food .
Done some Time out there Mechanic in Sydney Buses ,
Best working holiday ever.
@@darrenfarrell-bn2cb Nice. Beach Street and Coogee is the best. The Kebab shop. You talking about the one that used to be across from the bus stop at the Beach?
@@hwtours
Yes That’s it I used to get the Spaghetti Bolognaise after work there , and Fantastic yeros or Kebabs there as well,
Or buy your steak and Cook it yourself in the Coogee bay Hotel, probably gone now as well.
@@darrenfarrell-bn2cb Yeh cook your own steak long gone.
Loving this. Does anyone remember Luigis, a restaurant on Coogee Bay Road? I remember many happy nights there back in the 90s. I Currently live in Perth, but fondly remember my Sydney days!😊
Nah don’t remember that one. The Italian restaurant I always went to is still there and it’s called La Spiaggia.
Yes, I loved La Spaiaggia. I think Luigis was back in 1990! I remember it well as the owner was bat shit crazy. If you looked in the restaurant window after the lunch shift, you'd often see Luigi sleeping on the floor waiting for the evening rush. A real character for sure...

Wahhh pemandangan yang sangat indah ❤
Yep it’s a great place Coogee. Thanks for watching. 👍
Lovely coogee, another good VT. HW, if you could live anywhere in Sydney (budget not a problem) where would you choose?
Great sharing
Very interesting video as usual HW. You've mentioned before in other videos about the camera overheating. Which one are you using and how long does it go before the problem starts?
Thanks 🙏 I use GoPro Hero 10. Overheating varies depending on weather. In this video it was actually pretty good at around 25 mins before shutting down. I guess they are really built for short action vids.
@@hwtours Interesting, I was thinking of getting one and have not seen any reviews where this raised as an issue. Thanks for replying. Take care.
@@hwtours If it's overheating in Winter, how's it gunna be in Summer ?
@@evogardens you’ll find a lot of the other walkers only film in 1080. I do all mine in 2160 4K. Always gonna create some heat regardless of the camera you use.
@@hwtours OK, thanks.
It would be great if you could rank your top 5 Sydney suburbs to live in .. ta
Hard to say as it depends on a lot of variables. Budget is the big one. But individual circumstances like how many people? family, single, couple, demographics like that would influence my response.
Mc Donalds was on the Corner is it still there ,
@@darrenfarrell-bn2cb Yep still a McDonalds on the corner near Coogee Bay oval.
@@hwtours
The Beach Palace
5 Dollar Beer Jugs in my Day
A lot More Now I’d say.
@@darrenfarrell-bn2cb Not sure. Didn’t go there much. Before the pub there was a Chinese restaurant called the China Bowl.
@@hwtours I Think it was a Cinema Originally
@@darrenfarrell-bn2cb In the ye old days it was an aquarium.
