    Very negative advice just because he couldn’t make it. Then again, he might want less competition but somebody please get him a bottle

    I haven't heard anything from my usual brokers for months, just recently I have gotten a few calls from some brokers begging me to haul for less than my cost. I'm here to haul but can't do it for less than it costs me.

      Every thing on the load board is 2 dollar a mile with 4 dollar fuel. Those two don’t add up

    Well to correct that go directly to reliable owner operators and pay them well pay then trying to low ball them after the job is complete..

    That is not 100% true. Brokers don't really care about good carrier because no matter how good your carrier is they will take you off the load if they find another carrier willing to haul for less. Almost all brokers that I deal with today cares about who is more desperate for that load and haul it for less money so the broker will make more money. I wish there was a law that makes them pay driver always the same percentage.

      Nope, I 100% care about having a good carrier but I need to make money too. If I’ve agreed to a rate on a load with you, even if someone calls in and is willing to do it for less, I’m sticking with you as promised. But yes you’re right to an extent. I want to book the person who wants the load the most, they’ll be the most reasonable on their rate. I’d rather book the person trying to go home over the person who doesn’t care if their truck moves or not. And carriers always say to ask the customer for more money, those money hungry hoes ain’t giving up another dime if they don’t have to. They’ll just find another broker willing to work with less money to find a truck.

    The situation today with brokers is horrible. Why the turnover is so high is because of the brokers.
    Low balling all the way. Loads are paid below the minimum.
    They don't care about truckers and they depend on them.
    Truckers can find shippers without the brokers. The only solution to avoid dealing with low balling parasites is to be your own broker and to do business to business transportation.

    Need to just get rid of freight brokers. Shippers straight to carriers. Brokers are not required just parasites thats not needed.

    • @kurtfred3886
      @kurtfred3886 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Lol the work that brokers do, no one else wants to. There’s a reason we exist. Shippers don’t want to do the work of having to find a carrier, and carriers don’t want to do the work of having to find someone who needs freight hauled. Brokers have all the info both sides needs. Carriers just worry about hauling and shippers just worry about making sure the load is ready. The amount of carriers we call sometimes just to get one load covered…trust me, no one wants to do that shit
