As a fan of Yugioh and someone who enjoyes Shadowverse Flame, should I watch Vanguard too ? The game doesn’t seem that interesting to me as far as I see from the AMVs and the fact that the cards/monsters are not animated as much feels wrong but If it is good I can try to watch it. Can anyone tell me If I should and generally talk about the series (like its strengths, weaknesses, character writing, female treatment, plots and how dark it is and how epic/exiciting the matches generally are….)

if the game doesn't interest you probably wont like the anime the overdress season doesn't animate the cards nearly as much as the other series

Just watch the OG seasons from 2011 to Legion Mate plus the movie and the sequel Vanguard G. They have holograms there and it looks so cool plus has cool stories. It’s why I haven’t checked out the new stuff, it is just animated so boringly in comparison to the earlier seasons.
Edit: also the stories seem very dull in comparison too

Really loved this fight! Gui controlling Jinki was unexpected and Gui being kinda creepy made it better imo. Also, why is everybody using cards that don't necessarily belong in their deck? Though, the grade 4 fits well with Dragontree's playstyle since you have a guaranteed OT turn 6

If you mean like how Urara used stuff like Inlet Pulse Dragon when she was playing Masques Lianorn, that's because Uniformers is all about playing the game as competitive as possible. Removing the unique factor of how some cards that would necessarily belong in their deck for the more optimal way to play.
