Once again, really fantastic video for the engineering community.
    Keep doing the great work....

Very Informative video, Have been using merge feature but was shocked to learn that there is embedded region too

Well done. I can also add that this kind of constraint just add mechanical degree of freedom and doesn't add other DOFs. if you want to do some heat transfer analysis that just consider temperature dof, this constraint doesn't fit well with that analysis type.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the video
Really appreciate your good work for engineering fraternity
I have a problem. So we use belts/plies in tire. it is made of fibre-reinforced-rubber. fibres or steel are calendared in rubber. you may look online to understand better, it won't take much time.
I don't have the composite properties ( 9 engineering constants ) but individually i have properties for rubber and fibre.
I want to get stress/strain results for when fibres are alligned in different direction ( actually belts and same, just they are place at +45 and -45 degrees on top of each other ). I want to replicate UTM test in simulation.
Any suggestions on how to approach this problem ( modelling, abaqus set-up, etc)
