For the youngsters out there, FIFA96 and of course the OG Playstation were such a leap into the future, it's hard to realize. As bad as it looks today, the 15 year old I was can't tell you enough how amazing that experience was.

At first when I lost my job at costco I felt that it was all over but this game has given me a second life! Honestly, I would be division 1 if it werent for the frauds in my squad that "have work". anyways, keep up the great content... I'll be waiting ;)

By giving up the license and switching to EA Sports FC, EA might just have created their own biggest competitor. FIFA will find a competent partner who will develop the new FIFA games and given that FIFA is not exactly known for ethical business practices, I wouldn't be surprised if sooner or later this new partner will have pretty much all the licenses for teams and player names. And let's be honest, the licenses are pretty much the only thing that has kept FIFA ahead of PES in the past. I'm not really up to date with the more recent games, but at least back when I still played a lot of football games, there was pretty much a consensus amongst all my friends, that PES is actually the better game, but we kept buying FIFA because of the names. EA Sports FC will be irrelevant soon
