This animation was simply brilliant. I honestly would love to see a concept in future games where you actually apply what you have learned throughout your journey instead of mindlessly trying to figure out a puzzle that takes thirty minutes with trainers at every turn.

Lest it's more that you grew up and is much much better at POKEMON then you were when you were a kid........... Kids nowadays are noobs at pokwmon just like you were when you were young , especially if it's their fist game! That's why the tutorial is still there. Plus it's a game for kids.........but mayeb they could bring back Challenge Mode like in Black 2 and White 2!😍😍😍😍😉

It would put a twist on Gym challenges. After seeing this, I'm actually hoping we see gyms return in Gen 8, but with a twist; defeating the Gym Leader is no longer enough and the player also has to complete some kind of puzzle or obstacle course to get the badge. Yes, some Pokémon games do require the player to complete a puzzle before a challenge in some gyms (such as Gardenia's Flower clock puzzle in Platinum), but completing an additional puzzle after the battle, would be interesting too. By far, the closest we've gotten to this is Clair's Easter Egg Hunt for the Dragon Fang in Gold and Silver, and the Dragon Test in Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver.
Just as the ending hinted. A calamity for each Kanto badge would be wonderful.

That would be fun to have to go through a puzzle or obstacle course of pokemon's habitats/walking around to get a badge. It could signify that not only have you beaten the Gym leader, but you can interact respectively to wild pokemon....though the tossing rattata and weedle out like that...might not get any small brownie points from PETA.
