Reasonable priced and meets the quality standard...great..other branded ones are becoming expensive day by day which is just using primarily the same concept..great work
09:09 I think (based on your said TDS) , first glass is wastage water as its tds is very high, second glass of water is source water and it is the same as you also said the source water tds before, and the last one is purified water as you told.
I so appreciate you sharing this video! Thank you. Can you tell the quantity of waste water this system makes for every Liter or Gallon of filtered water? So I know how big my "waste water" vessel needs to be.....I plan to install this in the cabinet under my kitchen sink in an apartment.
As water with TDS below 150 is said to be good for drinking, even your waste water having a TDS of 145 is good for drinking. So, you might consider not throwing it away and use just like RO output clean water.
If your water TDS is not so bad then you can avoid using the spun filter and then it will take water from bucket. Otherwise, you have to use a mini 12 pump before the spun filter which can create some pressure
If you are still using this, you would have accumulated health issues, the TDS of drinking water should be between 50 to 150. Less than 50 is not good.
You just said that you DIY for quite cheap but I didn't find you mentioning how much total cost your incurred, all inclusive, unless I missed that part. Could you mention the final figure here?
If this is your business, can you ship the kits from your links to the USA? It won't let me buy it off Amazon. I know shipping will take longer and cost more, but let me know and how much. Thank You! Also great video!
I mean, on your links it won't let me buy it off Amazon b/c I live in the USA, it gives me no option to buy. Is it possible to ask your affiliates to add shipping options for outside your country? If so, send a link please. I want to buy the kit without any of the electric parts though, (no motor, no salvo, no wires, etc.) I just need the filters and all the plumbing, connectors, tubing, so it works on a tap water outlet by itself. I was thinking of buying multiple kits for my family members as our water isn't the best here either. Anyways, let me know! Thanks!
Thanks for watching the video. This is not my business but I can suggest you some similar product links which are available on the Amazon US site. I will update those links in a few days in the video description. Thanks
@@technoreview85 Ok! Thank you! I really appreciate it. Also what is your opinion on adding an alkaline re-mineralization cartridge at the end? I have read many debates on health issues from RO water, (b/c it takes out all the good minerals too), but others say it is perfectly fine as we get those minerals back from food. I don't know, i will probably add one, but that jumps up my cost another $20. The system I am looking to build is about $95 US for all the cheapest parts on Amazon and with no pump. I also decided not to put the extra sediment filter, I figure one is enough. My setup that I might buy, (again this is the cheapest parts I could find here in the USA) is a 5 micron sediment filter, two carbon filters in a row, RO membrane, then alkaline cartridge. And then all those hoses and connectors I need too, including a tap connector. I was thinking geez that adds up quickly, almost $100. Maybe I'll just make a 3 stage, without RO membrane to start, one sediment, 2 carbon. It would be like those water pitchers like Brita or Pur' pitchers i am guessing. That would be $50 less lol. I can always add the RO stuff later I figured and this should be pretty clean water, better then the tap for sure. Anyways, thanks for replying! And thanks for your help! Great video by the way!
Now get ready for hospital expenses and pain Bro, after all this hard work, you are missing an important thing to add, the added minral cartage because TDS of 40 is very harmful.
Actually, it gives water the same as 20 litres of purified bottled water. It does not give mineral water. The mineral is necessary but without minerals, water is not harmful. Anyone can use a mineral cartridge at the output line. Thanks for your opinion
You have taken unthreaded sediment filter. It is not fail-safe and with time it gives way for unpreprocessed water to go inside the RO. you could have taken "RO sediment filter threaded" (search google) which has better working.

excellent video mate. came here for the links. keep making such tutorials.

Would this system also work for rain water?
Yes

Thank you. The amount of waste water depends on your source water TDS. So it's difficult to say accurately

I don't have overhead tank. Can I use bucket water for this setup as input? Or can i put pump directly before first spun filter?

What is the function of solenoid valve?
Your link not working they sending us to amazon us or uk website
Excellent tutorial thank you 👍🏼
how waste water TDS is measuring less than source water Bro? shouldn't it be higher since its concentrated? I am confused
It has a pre-filter & other two cartilages. Those filters consume some big particles before Ro.
@@technoreview85 ah, that explains thank you

Its cost was 4 to 4.5 K INR in 2022. It was just for an experiment but till now it is working. Thanks for your interest
@@technoreview85 still working?
What's the use of solenoid here.
Solenoid stopping water when the machine is off

RO Water is not safe for consumption, you'll need to add vital minerals before drinking, it's perfect for hydroponics tho 🥳
More than enough Minerals are in the foods you consume every day... Distilled and RO water is just fine for consumption...💧
This is not homemade its home assembled system.
Is it making or Installing? To me making obviously is different.
Bloody fantastic!! This channel desperately needs Promo'SM!!
i thought you made it but its not made its assembling the product made by someone bruhh...🤦
