  • Is your switch working, but the machine is still not turning on/working?
    Here's how to debug.

I'm going to let you know something... the fuse kept blowing because of the heating element. I took the relay off of the mother board and ran 3volts across it and it was fine. The fan is controlled by the relay. The fan clearly worked up until the fuse blew again. The fan, the relay and the fuse all worked - soooo, that left only one thing: the heating element as the culprit.
The heating element is ONLY found on Alibaba..... ugh. You CANNOT find the heating element on Amazon OR at Lowe's/Home Depot. Because of the 90 degree angle, it's only available on Alibaba.

I wish I would have found your video first, it would have saved me a lot of time searching!

I like the way you’ve explained small things which we technicians take for granted, in a layman approach for anyone to understand!

How did u remove the top housing of the unit to get to the motherboard/motor part?

Oh! Those were hard to get off! It's a "snap in" but needs to be squeezed in when removing. I think I broke one...

Since I do not have your air fryer in front of me, I cannot help with that situation. All I can say is, watch videos or read forums. I knew nothing about my co-workers air fryer, until I started to take it apart. I learn as I go unfortunately.

So why are you using an axial fuse for a replacement instead of a thermal fuse? I am trying to understand why.

Go to DigiKey and look up the fuse. Look at the data sheet. It can withstand the requirements of an air fryer. I had a principal engineer that works with defibrillators on a daily help me pick the correct fuse.
