Drinking is forbidden in Iran... I think the only computer that this artist had, had a Windows 95 on it. He did this design by Microsoft Paint on Windows 95... 😂😂

Hi. Just wanted to let everyone know that the first and third book boy is actually part of a ripoff hindi movie of Harry Potter. I can't believe that they used that boy instead of Daniel Radcliffe
Those are amazing in their weirdness, it’s like someone kinda knew what the books were about, and kinda knew how to use clip art. Reminds me of something I saw a few years back where people were trying to recreate movie posters and such using only the basic Microsoft clip art package.
I know about 4 different Farsi translations but only this one is available now . Sadly I have the second edition with "normal" covers. I read this translation and it is normal and not as wacky as I expected but edited to meet their cultural standarts .I really want to buy them but can not find any for reasonable prince . You must see their Witcher books ,they used arts from games for cover and of course picture of Henry Cavil .
Some of them are 100% don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s not what the outside is, it’s what’s inside that counts. It’s still HP which we all love. Would love to read a mashup of Jurassic part and HP that would truly be entertaining. These covers made my day.
I am absolutely LOVING the Philosopher's Stone cover. I started dying laughing at it and I couldn't stop laughing for a good minute, it's just so wacky. I love it. I'm also loving the Order of the Pheonix third part cover. That's another that I started dying laughing at.
The Harry and Hermione on the first part of Order of the Phoenix's cover could've been used on the cover for the first book! Also, those illustrations are by Mark Braught and they were used for merchandising before the movies came out and even during the movies.
Some of the unauthorized books reminds me of Simpson’s when homer dressed his pig up in glasses and gave him a lightning bolt scar and called him Harry Plopper lmao.😂😂

(I think you also have that one) but you can still buy this version from the stores. And although I think they've changed it now but in the last printings of this book they had spelled Hermione like "her.mi.on" but after J.k Rowling talking about it and correcting people I guess they changed it in the edition you have.😂😂 BTW Thanks for posting this!😆😆😆

Although it's funny and wacky, I REALLY dislike these covers. They're all missing something about the normal covers. I feel like they dishonored the Harry Potter universe by doing that... I'm sorry that I sound like a salty butthead but I'm just venting how I feel about it.
I'm an Iranian Potterhead and these are the first books that I bought with my own allowance many years ago, so these books are my babies but even to this day I look at the covers and go what in the actual hell?! 🤣🤣🤣
These crazy books are my first harry potter books, and back in the time I used to hate them since they were not related to the story and I hated the dinosaurs the most but now that they are out of print I really love these since they reminde me of my teenage years and becoming a potterhead :))

I love your videos especially your haul and unboxing vids. I myself have been a closet ''Potterhead'' for a short while. I cut my HP teeth on the movies and took the Pottermore Sorting Hat Quiz and apparently I am A PROUD HUFFLEPUFF.
I would agree with what you have chosen goblet of Fire is the craziest one. Also I think the boy they are using in book one and three is the boy from the Little Vampire. He looks very similar to him.

I'm also Iranian and have three different editions of the Harry Potter books :) and the edition you showed is my least favourite xD there is a new edition, which you have on your shelves, and there is an old edition with the first American Edition covers by Arthur A. Levine Books. Those are my favourites and the translation itself is also better, in my opinion. But they don't get published anymore :(

😂 I remember when I was 11 and tried to find out some connection between the cover and the stroy. Anyway hopefully the translation by Mrs Vida Eslamie is the best one here and quite satisfying especially when I could read the original English books, there are only some little eliminated parts😄 which is inevitable in Islamic Iran and translators and publishers can't do anything about it. I guess once Hermion kissed Harry's cheek which was cut from the book, and a very fine subtle cutting "kiss" word from the Harry and the Goblet of fire and 😂 again " kiss" word between Jinny and Harry
