You would love The Tale of Jenny and Screetch full . It is story telling like you have never heard before, so different that fans have had to invent a new name for it Bardcore . Because it is like a Shakespearean story set to modern language and music . It is one story that the fans turn out to watch new reactors to see because you need to shair the shock and awe and amazement it provokes .
Ren has worked on the vidioes with his friend Sam since the begining ,they have always made great vidioes even though they had almost no money and no resources. Ren had some money to put into this one ( nowhere near the money of a industry artist ) and it won 3 awards .

People usually start with Hi Ren, not as much a song but more of a performance, but as the name implies it is a great introduction to Ren. Looks like Ren you has hooked. 😄 Ren is not only a rapper. He is his own genre of Ren. Independent artist, who has overcome tremendous hardship. Ren and his videographer, Samuel Perry-Falvey have won several awards for "Money Game 3". You might want to watch "Hi Ren". That was his breakout video, and what threw us all into the Ren rabbit hole. Shhhh-----I think I hear the Renegades coming!

Lovely reaction! I subbed for more Ren please. Hi Ren has 30 million views plus! Then Money Game 1 and 2. Ren has so much ..well over 200 songs on his page. He is just getting out of medical treatments and hopefully well enough to do more. He had a #1 album in UK last year, Sick Boi which was rap. But he has lits of singing too. It is Ren playing the piano at first (Edvard Grieg's famous piano concerto), you may recognise his rings and his hands even, once you are a long-time fan. And if that's not enough, just watch a BTS 🙂 As with guitar, Ren is self-taught on the piano. You see a piano enter his life in his Me vs. me vlog. Before starting to speak, he sings (oos) first Violet's theme (anouncing the theme of child abuse to follow), then the Money Game theme.
This is a live one take until the camera passes behind the wheelchair, and from then on it is again a live one take. The cut was necessary to transfer the brooch with the mike from the jacket lapel into a waterproof container in his tie knot. You can spot it there, when you look at it closely.

Funny thing: Ren has practiced loading a gun to death, but never learned how to fold a jacket.

This video won two awards in the recent International Music Video Awards January 2024 for best Music Video and Best Director (Ren & Samuel Perry-Falvey were joint winners on both). Then it went on to win Best European Music Video in the XIXth ÉCU Film Festival 2024 in April 2024. And then it also won best Music Video and Best Director and best Concept at the London Music Video Awards 2024.
To understand the noose around the neck, I'd go for the image of the money sack / hostage sack on everybody's head, noose around the neck. You can't even really see, but will hang.

He’s the most amazing lyrical artist / rapper and overall musician. If you dive into his very extensive output you won’t be disappointed. Agree that Hi Ren is a must, also would recommend Chalk Outlines (Live) to whet your appetite a bit more. Then the Tales of Jenny and Screech are dark but true works of art. Ren suffered horribly from undiagnosed Lymes Disease for many years, has lost close friends at a young age and thought his dream of being successful with music had slipped away after he was bedridden but he always forged his way through with courage and tenacity. His personal story is inspiring and he is very invested in lifting up the people around him. His musical friends / collaborators include (but are not limited to) Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins and The Big Push.

This video is so incredible that it might not be obvious on the first viewing, but.... this was done in ONE TAKE. No cuts. That's actually typical of several other Ren videos, and one of his incredible talents. Interesting that you started out on your Ren journey with Money Game part 3, since most people discover him differently. By this point most others have already seen "Hi Ren". But since you haven't, let me have the honor of suggesting that to you. I think it might blow your mind even more than Money Game.
And then after that, find The Tale of Jenny & Screech (plus Violet's Tale). You'll know you're on the right one if it's all 3 of those back to back, around 13 1/2 minutes long. (It's important you watch them all linked.) And whatever you do, do NOT have closed captioning turned on... it's often incorrect, AND it's very distracting. And of course don't read any lyrics in advance. Yes, Ren is occasionally a little hard to make out due to his accent, but you'll get 99% of it... and the alternative (using closed captions) is not good. This goes for both Hi Ren and the Jenny/Screech/Violet trilogy.
So... Subscribed! If for no other reason than to watch your mind again being blown when you watch the others. 😀
Ren is a unique and talented artist. I put him with the very best artists I've heard in my 57 years. Beyond that, he's shown himself to be far more caring and sensible than any of them.

This masterpiece won Ren and his cinematographer Sam multiple awards, yet it is just the tip of the iceberg with this artist. Your life is about to change for the better and something in you seemed to realise before you were even halfway into the video. I have a feeling you will join the force of love and support that is the Renegades soon…
The first time I saw Money Game 3 during the premiere, I just sat in shocked silence afterwards and the only coherent thought I could think was that if Netflix doesn’t give this master storyteller his own show, they’re fools 😂 (Yes, he has plans to pitch something…)
Since then one of the things that gets me the most is the father telling a FIVE YEAR OLD to learn to be a man. No child at that age should think about anything but being a child. Far too many reactors let that part slide, but it really says so much about the toxic parenting. If you let those first words from the father properly sink in, it’s not so surprising that things only get worse from there. Unfortunately, Jimmy ends up living for his father’s approval. He hangs on his every word and follows his guidance so much that he gets completely lost when the father is no longer there. So instead of finding freedom, he spirals. And Jimmy is just an exaggerated version of all of us…
It could be anyone under the money bag, blinded by greed, with the wrong guidance and pressure. But together we can do better. And that is one of the things Ren stands for: community. And he is a voice of hope for anyone in the darkness. You really must check out Hi Ren next. And then I highly recommend checking out his 1 million subscribers video on defining success to understand the man behind the art. Ren is special ❤🐰🕳️

Came across Ren last year with his Hi Ren video. So fricking moving.
The Tales of Jenny & Screech + Violet really showcase his story-telling talents, Shakespearean in quality.
His rap abilities are highlighted in his songs, The Hunger, Power, Losing It, and many more (personally, I really enjoy What You Want).
His singing talent is also amazing, with songs such as Chalk Outlines, For Joe, Back on 74/Message in a Bottle (my current favorite of his, absolute fire!!), and his live busking with his band, The Big Push, with covers of I shot The Sheriff and War Pigs.
Welcome to the world of Ren, with so much to explore, you’ll find so many songs to enjoy, your playlist will expand greatly, in many genres.

Hey man, great reaction, welcome to the Ren rabbit hole, nice to see....well, I don't want to say "older", lets just say someone from my generation who's also got a little life experience under their belt...lol. When I tell you you're in for a treat, it's an understatement, I've been a hip-hop head since the 80s, and I've played, created or just listened to music in some capacity most of my life, and I have never seen pure raw talent like this kid has, ever. Music just oozes out of every pore of his body 24/7. There's nothing he can't do musically.
He's a phenomenal rapper and lyricist, with a special place in his heart for 90's hip-hop, and a true student of the culture, he can tear your heart out with just his voice and guitar singing about his battles with mental health and physical illness, he does amazing duets with friends of his, he plays in a band sometimes with 3 of his mates, that do everything from Bob Marley to the Rolling Stones, or just flat out flex on some bars over an awesome beat he created (he produces all his own music). Anyway, not going to suggest anything, I'm sure you got a ton of suggestions already, plus no matter what ya pick, you can't go wrong.
Warning: The Renegades, Ren fans, are great, you won't find a nicer group, helpful, caring, and easy going. But they can be a little overwhelming at first, suggesting songs and what you should do next. They're not trying to be pushy, they just really love Ren, there's no order in which you need to check out his music. It's your channel, and whichever direction you take, the Renegades will be along for the ride and respect your wishes. Just subbed, look forward to checking out more of your content and some more Ren reactions, take care! ✌💚

Ren is a real rapper that has learnt the craft from listening the the greats and honed his craft being loyal to hip hop. he is more than a rapper but is a rapper at his core. All his work is great. He has suffered greatly and was dropped by Sony due to him being very seriously ill and he was for a long time after and has been back for a couple of years. many of his songs reflect his illness, He released Troubles not long ago which is the quick version of what he has been through. It's tough, but he has 5 spken pieces where he explains in great detail what he has been through. Just be aware, maybe listen to troubles, his early work like Hold On shows just how good he was 8 years ago when very sick. His sound Ready For You is a good mid example when he is in a better frame of mind. His rapping album Sick Boi got to number 1 in the UK , loads of rap tracks... some of his best Raps in my view... Power, Genesis, Illest of our time, Lost all Faith and Seven Sins but they are all good. Does all Genres of music too, more an artist than pure rapper

There is a lot to take in with the Money Games trilogy but I’ve found a very subtle theme of “the powers that be” stop music ie free speech along with using music to defend it. In my own deductions anyways.

Great reaction brother Ren produces so much good quality music, what got him Viral was a song called Hi Ren. But what got me was the tale of jenny and screech (m st be trilogy) with violets tale will render you speechless. If you want to see Ren's rapping skills and flows listen to the. Hunger.
