Yes, I totally agree with you & wish we could. When we build these custom racks the process is the artist flies in for the day, we bring a boatload of hardware to a stage-usually centerstaging-grab whatever bass drum we can get that matches the right size he/she uses & build from there. We never have the artists actual gear so we never get the opp to show a finished set-up with their actual drums. What I try to show is the process & then the finished rack to help others build their racks.
Awesome as usual Brent!!! It's a pain building a custom rack sometimes, but when you finally get it set, and tweeked just right, oh man, there's nothing like it!!!
I try to get photo's and/or video from the artists when they tour to show off the finished racks... but once they go on tour it's difficult. Thanks for asking this question, I will address this in the next custom rack we build!
No not at all! I agree with your comment completely... logistically (and financially) it's very difficult to get the artists gear flown in to do the rack build. But of course it would make the video better :-) Thanks for commenting and the follow up!
TOTALLY understood. I hope my comment didn't come across as overly critical. You guys do a tremendous job of putting-out useful videos on a frequent basis. Keep 'em coming. Many of us drummers love seeing this type of drum porn on a regular basis. Thnx.
Gibraltar makes some good stuff!! I started adding stuff on to my Roland Rack using Gibraltar and now I just want to throw the Roland crap out but I'm poor right now and can't afford to do a 100% swap!!
Like many, I scrubbed towards the end to see the finished product. Assumed there would be "one more" video to show the results. Just re-watched and didn't see a full-sweep of the final kit - with both rack toms mounted, cymbals, electronics, etc. A nice follow-up would be showing his *final* kit with all of the actual drums and cymbals. (Just *MY* opinion) :)
seems like overkill but hey as long as the show goes on..... The average drummer can't even tune let alone construct this without a drum tech. Yeah for the drum Tecs!!!

You guys have the best job in the world. Doing something you love to please drummers. ☺️👍🏼
My god!!..I hate my job.

thanks! All the shots of the finished set-up are in the first minute of the video.
I love my Gibraltar rack system. Same exact setup every time.
wow dude, you are the master of the racks, some day I will be there with u, building my custom rack, remember me!!! I WILL XD blessins brent!!

I decided to show the end result first and then how we got there.
Nice one! Would've been good to see how it looked like when it was all done.
wow you really did a good job on shortening the video, as you said in the comments of the last video, it was almost a half hour
None of these are Sean's drums, they're just stand in's from Center Staging so we had something to work with.
GibraltarDIY Are you guys still doing the Kit makeover month?
great job
It would have been nice to see the finished product
This is heaven

Cómo poder conseguir un racks así en Medellín Colombia,, está súper
You could have made a foot foundation between the two kick drums in the shape of an A or V. tha twould have been modular as well.
I am pretty sure I want to take curved bars and make a rad headboard for my bed.

That shirt tough👌
Which toms where those? 3:01 - 3:06?
Why does Sean have a ddrum, a Mapex and a Yamaha bassdrum??? Does he endorse all those drums brands???
Felipe Villarroel no,it’s the drums Gibraltar provided so he could get the sizes and distance etc... accurate
loool from approximately 3:25 every one is sitting with their feet cross
How much would a similar rack like this cost for the general public?
A lot. I wouldn't recommend it.
Many, many stimulus checks.

Indeed Robert. This is going on while someone is wondering if they will eat today.
