Nadine has a very clumsy vibe to her, but in a good way. Like dong woo said, it’s like you can’t help but feel as tho you want to help her or see her succeed. As for seo-eun, I absolutely love her. She’s classy, bubbly, mature, and authentic. She’s very feminine & attractive, but also isn’t afraid to be friendly & just have a good time.
Seo Eun has been my favorite since the very first appearance, and honestly... through every episode, she stayed consistent, she's the best! No drama, good sport, has an opinion, bubbly. And then I found out she was Miss Korea, lol how fitting 😍

Nadine is such a refreshing part of the show. Her character development is genuine and uplifting. I love how she’s not the boldest, but tread carefully, learning, and growing. Her confidence grows in the later episodes.

I agreed with what was said about “getting guys with good taste”. I’d rephrase it as getting guys with varied tastes. Before official casting, they should interview the potential male cast especially and pick guys who have different ideal types, different values, different likes and dislikes in women etc etc. What’s the point in picking different types of women and all the guys are into the same thing? Then only 2 girls fit what they’re into so they get all the guys and then the other girls just remain for whichever guys got rejected.

Nadine and Seo eun are my favs. I also like Se Jong. I actually didn't like Nadine going with Dongwoo bcs while asking for her he looked like he didn't wanted to go but forced himself to go with Nadine. Soe is cute girl. I like her honesty and good communication skills but i can understand why that guy didn't take her to paradise bcs she gives that vibes where a person will get too attached to you if u will show even slight interest which seems as desperate behaviour. Hope she stops and tries to know any other guy. About Seul ki even i was surprised of her popularity among guys. And i agree with u on her and Dongwoo date. I see people criticizing only Dongwoo but Seulki was at fault too for not speaking out clearly when she said she is honest person and expresses clearly.
To be fair to Seulki, it'd be VERY awkward to just straight up tell him that she is no longer interested when she was going to spend the rest of their time in paradise together. Not to mention, they were being filmed for the whole world to see. Look what they did to poor Jia. I actually liked that she was able to set those boundaries with him. It's pretty weird to judge Soe for being too attached, and then Seulki for trying to distance herself from a guy who was taking things way to seriously.
@Caring for I'm sorry, but I would've also been uncomfortable in Seulki's shoes. He wasn't even asking her questions to get to know her better, like "when did you start playing piano?" Or "what do you like to do in your free time? I like to ..." All of it was about if she liked him, calling her "pure" and "innocent" (considering their age gap, this was super creepy). Not to mention, he kept pushing her boundaries, such as drinking and trying to get her to say she likes him. Seulki also explained that she's pretty awkward bc she's focused so much of her time on studying and piano, so she lacks experience and needs more time, which everyone (Dong-Woo, the panelists, and the audience) is blatantly ignoring. Honestly I think seulki and Seoeun are most popular between the guys because they fit the beauty standards. The guys try to hide it and say its not about appearance but it’s clear that it is Judging from the popularity of Seulki and Seoeun. Same I relate to So-e, there’s not many options on the show anyways so once she finds this one guy she tries to get him. I think she cried because she never had any guys rejected her (like what she said in the beginning) and not because she liked him so much because tbh how can someone like a guy that much without knowing anything about this guy and the dude even showed very little interest to her (he never started convo and always walked with other girls) so I think she liked him because he matched her type/she found him physically attractive. Yet this guy rejected her and she thought she should do more yet he kept rejecting her. If it was me it would definitely hurt my pride. Tho I kinda understand why some audiences found her crying unnecessary (they barely knew each other can’t believe if this person was her ultimate crush for years how would she react). But again, it’s personal opinion and everyone is free to think their perception to each of the contestants.
I would also get an ick like Seulki especially when the doctor guy was kind of reprimanding her for not having experience? He was like “You blame studying and business for not having experience but even when I was busy I made time for romantic relationships” to her. I thought it depends on the person whether they can focus on more than two things when studying/exams is super hard in South Korea. I understood that the doctor guy went to Yonsei University but Seulki also went to Seoul National University. I felt like Seulki didn’t like the power balance of the doctor guy who talked to her like she was a child like she said in the recent episodes when she dumped him. She wanted someone who would understand that she needs to take her time and doesn’t burden/pressure her to like them like the new guy she fell in love with.
That’s def one of the reasons why she likes Jinyoung. He seems pretty laidback and unassuming during their first date in paradise - a total opposite of dongwoo, who was so serous and obviously fishing for that “i like you back” from her during their date.

About Seul-ki, I think her being that way around people could be because she said she keeps studying and does not interact much with people so I think she could be socially awkward and feels the need to put a facade to fit in. I feel like I can't have an opinion about her yet until I see her date with the new guy. It would make things a bit clear. If she's painfully awkward to watch again on her next date, then maybe she really struggles with socialising who knows 🤷🏻♀️ Honestly, I am not feeling any of the cast members this time. I have the same sense of Seul ki on screen. Because to be fair, I don't know her anywhere else. I understand why guys are into Seulki and why she has haters (for one of three reasons, 1. she gets attention and has that ideal image, 2. repressed femininity or irritated by her shyness or innocence 3. find her acting, fake or inauthentic). Whatever the case may be, we all have flaws and no one deserves to be condemned and bullied. Don't blame the guys for not being into the baddie but kind of also superficial, shallow type. I do however, agree for more variety on the show including guys that may be more cultured and exotic. But then again, this show in and of itself the is superficial and shallow. None of the activities are mental, emotional and based on compatibility it is just physical and chemistry.

So far, season 2 is ok but only ok. I'm not out of my seat yet. There's no charismatic character so far, everyone seems to be just chill. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Jia in season 1, but the girl carried much of the show on her own and she had that IT GIRL FACTOR. This current season is still very new, and I expect twist and turns as the season progresses.

I also feel Seulki is a lil bit weird, like she's sometimes not innocent like she always say. I saw some comments on tiktok that she tryna act innocent so her face is strange but I wanna confirm that, it's just because of her nose plastic surgery makes her whole face seems to be stiff. My brother's a surgery doctor in Gangnam, Korea and he told me that just look into the structure and everytime she smiles, the part between her eyebrows have sth like a wrinkle but her nose still stay stiff. And if she stands under the sunlight more, we could even see the plastic part in her nose. I agree. 1. I feel like Seul-ki genuinely looks at her reflection in other people's eyes while they talk instead of actually listening to what they are saying lmfao. That's the vibe I get. But I feel until the 4th episode, the guy soo-e liked kept playing with her feelings? How are y'all not able to see that? She liked the guy at the first and second episode, they even talked for a while. He also showed interest in her, and that made her feel confident he'll choose her. He NEVER mentioned straight out that he didn't like her. Not even in the 3rd episode, where they both talked for quite a long time in the tent. He told her he's curious about her. HE was the one confused between her and Seo-eun. He led Soo-e on and made her think he really likes her, while in the 4th episode we saw him choose Seo-eun over her. He thought Seo-eun wouldn't go to paradise and purposely chose Nadine. But then he realized she did go, and Soo-e, who thought he wanted to go with her, was left behind. I'm not saying she's not to blame. but she was just being honest with her feelings. And in the 4th episode, we saw how mature she was when she had a talk with the guy. She told him if she likes somebody, she doesn't give up easily. She even told him she doesn't want to pressurize him. She just wanted clear signs from him whether he really liked her or not. It wasn't her fault anywhere. The guy led her on because he was confused between her and Seo-eun. He said he wanted to get to know Soo-e better, and I feel he knew she would choose him again, but he didn't give her any hint nor did he say anything to her about the fact that he still chose Seo-eun. I'm not blaming Seo-eun here, the girl's amazing, but it was the guy's fault for not even giving Soo-e ANY hint whatsoever, that he won't choose her after making her feel he would. I believe now that they have talked she should move on and I believe she will. Don't go around saying this person is creepy when you don't know the whole situation.

Park Se Jeong is my favorite in terms of looks and figure. But I agree with the video creator that she doesn't fit the typical korean female ideal look and size because she is a bigger girl. Park Se Jeong kinda reminds me of Kang So Yeon from last season since they both have that athletic build.

Or "what do you like to do in your free time? I like to ..." All of it was about if she liked him, calling her "pure" and "innocent" (considering their age gap, this was super creepy). Not to mention, he kept pushing her boundaries, such as drinking and trying to get her to say she likes him.
Seulki also explained that she's pretty awkward bc she's focused so much of her time on studying and piano, so she lacks experience and needs more time, which everyone (Dong-Woo, the panelists, and the audience) is blatantly ignoring.

As an American, as soon as Se-jeong was introduced, I was absolutely smitten with her. She radiated so much beauty and just stood out to me. She would've been my first and only choice. Crazy no one else thought so smh.

I think she cried because she never had any guys rejected her (like what she said in the beginning) and not because she liked him so much because tbh how can someone like a guy that much without knowing anything about this guy and the dude even showed very little interest to her (he never started convo and always walked with other girls) so I think she liked him because he matched her type/she found him physically attractive. Yet this guy rejected her and she thought she should do more yet he kept rejecting her. If it was me it would definitely hurt my pride. Tho I kinda understand why some audiences found her crying unnecessary (they barely knew each other can’t believe if this person was her ultimate crush for years how would she react). I would also get an ick like Seulki especially when the doctor guy was kind of reprimanding her for not having experience? He was like “You blame studying and business for not having experience but even when I was busy I made time for romantic relationships” to her.
I thought it depends on the person whether they can focus on more than two things when studying/exams is super hard in South Korea. I understood that the doctor guy went to Yonsei University but Seulki also went to Seoul National University.
I felt like Seulki didn’t like the power balance of the doctor guy who talked to her like she was a child like she said in the recent episodes when she dumped him.
She wanted someone who would understand that she needs to take her time and doesn’t burden/pressure her to like them like the new guy she fell in love with.
That’s def one of the reasons why she likes Jinyoung. He seems pretty laidback and unassuming during their first date in paradise - a total opposite of dongwoo, who was so serous and obviously fishing for that “i like you back” from her during their date.

I do however, agree for more variety on the show including guys that may be more cultured and exotic. But then again, this show in and of itself the is superficial and shallow. None of the activities are mental, emotional and based on compatibility it is just physical and chemistry.

Yea this channel isn’t for me. Don’t get me wrong your points were mostly valid but the blatant hate on another culture and there habits (aegyo, the skin colour topic, the Beauty standards, etc) is kinda disturbing to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and every country has a certain standard that we don’t have a right to judge. African countries are worse to be honest because here if you are a light skin black you are considered an abnormality. The depth of skin tone prejudices exist in all countries and cultures. Some love darker shades while others like lighter ones. That’s the way of the world.
Anyway that’s just my unnecessary opinion that you probably don’t care for.

I knew by the first half that Seulki will be popular among the guys. She ticks off every item in the KBS list. If they get renewed for a 3rd season, I hope it's not as predictable as this.
So far, season 2 is ok but only ok. I'm not out of my seat yet. There's no charismatic character so far, everyone seems to be just chill. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Jia in season 1, but the girl carried much of the show on her own and she had that IT GIRL FACTOR. This current season is still very new, and I expect twist and turns as the season progresses.

totally agree with you, I like Sejeong and Nadine best, they give me "the independent girl" vibe. It's like they need nobody.
I also feel Seulki is a lil bit weird, like she's sometimes not innocent like she always say. I saw some comments on tiktok that she tryna act innocent so her face is strange but I wanna confirm that, it's just because of her nose plastic surgery makes her whole face seems to be stiff. My brother's a surgery doctor in Gangnam, Korea and he told me that just look into the structure and everytime she smiles, the part between her eyebrows have sth like a wrinkle but her nose still stay stiff. And if she stands under the sunlight more, we could even see the plastic part in her nose.
I said this not because I wanted to bash her or sth like that, I just wanna prove that her face is not that "real" and stop throwing hating comments on Nadine cuz her skin is not that pale 🙏🙏🙏

1. I feel like Seul-ki genuinely looks at her reflection in other people's eyes while they talk instead of actually listening to what they are saying lmfao. That's the vibe I get. She seems like she is trying VERY hard to come off a certain way and yet the guys are eating it up.
2. Soo-e : I liked her initially but now I really don't. I think her obsession with the guy she likes is borderline creepy. It was cute how open she was before but if he says no it means no. I feel like if a guy was doing what she is doing people would have more to say.
3. Se-jeong: Her personality seems the most vibrant. This is really weird but I think she messed up going with the neon-yellow/green dress during first impressions. It might not make sense but I feel like if she went with a different color, say white to show of her tan or black to embrace her "girl crush" vibe, she would be more popular with the guys. She's one of the few who can actually hold a conversation.
4. Seo-eun. 10/10. NO notes. Easy, breezy, beautiful.
5. Nadine. Honestly Nadine is very boring to me. I don't really get what y'all are seeing or why y'all are rooting for her. She also doesn't really know how to hold a conversation.
But I feel until the 4th episode, the guy soo-e liked kept playing with her feelings? How are y'all not able to see that? She liked the guy at the first and second episode, they even talked for a while. He also showed interest in her, and that made her feel confident he'll choose her. He NEVER mentioned straight out that he didn't like her. Not even in the 3rd episode, where they both talked for quite a long time in the tent. He told her he's curious about her. HE was the one confused between her and Seo-eun. He led Soo-e on and made her think he really likes her, while in the 4th episode we saw him choose Seo-eun over her. He thought Seo-eun wouldn't go to paradise and purposely chose Nadine. But then he realized she did go, and Soo-e, who thought he wanted to go with her, was left behind.
I'm not saying she's not to blame. but she was just being honest with her feelings. And in the 4th episode, we saw how mature she was when she had a talk with the guy. She told him if she likes somebody, she doesn't give up easily. She even told him she doesn't want to pressurize him. She just wanted clear signs from him whether he really liked her or not. It wasn't her fault anywhere. The guy led her on because he was confused between her and Seo-eun. He said he wanted to get to know Soo-e better, and I feel he knew she would choose him again, but he didn't give her any hint nor did he say anything to her about the fact that he still chose Seo-eun. I'm not blaming Seo-eun here, the girl's amazing, but it was the guy's fault for not even giving Soo-e ANY hint whatsoever, that he won't choose her after making her feel he would.
I believe now that they have talked she should move on and I believe she will. Don't go around saying this person is creepy when you don't know the whole situation.

He said that out lout to her directly. They even talked for ages in the tent. When did he "completely turn her down"? He led her on to think he's genuinely interested in her, but then chose Seo-eun over her when he chose Nadine. He didn't tell her anything outright that he wasn't gonna choose her. He led her on because he was confused between her and Seo-eun. In the end he did choose Seo-eun, but he didn't tell Soo-e anything about the fact that he won't choose her, even after making her think he would. Now after the 4th episode I think she finally realized he isn't into her that much, and now she'll move on. But you can't blame her for trying in the first few episodes, when he gave her direct answers that he's curious about her, wants to get to know her more, talks to her for ages and frequently work together. He indirectly led her on and she believed him. She'll probably move on now.

Park Se Jeong is my favorite in terms of looks and figure. But I agree with the video creator that she doesn't fit the typical korean female ideal look and size because she is a bigger girl. Park Se Jeong kinda reminds me of Kang So Yeon from last season since they both have that athletic build.

I think seul ki has the type of face guys seems to like but women dont. I was watching with my parents and my dad kept on saying shes the preetiest and im like...uh no. She looks so fake I cant stand it. Just something about her is so not genuine I can feel it through the screen but guys seem to miss that. And girl, stop with those damn eyebrows. Her eyebrows were the most annoying part of the show.
So e is also another problem. Me and my parents were like she was sent there to be a sacrificial lamb. It was obvious that she was not gonna come out a winner at all. Initially I liked Nadine but she became boring. I still like her. I was shipping her with Dong Woo but her lack of a spine was kinda hard to watch. Too much people pleasing and awkward. She reminded me of myself too much so it was hard to watch😭
Seoeun did not stand out to me in the beginning but she started to stand out as the episodes progressed. I can see why her charm is being 'natural". She just seems very effortless and naturale and very comforting to be around. I enjoyed watching her interaction with everyone. Socially very skilled. Im hoping to learn a thing or 2 from her😂 Shes got that certain jene sais quoi quality
Overall the cast this time is pretty boring. It lacked s1's spiciness. Nobody really stood out.
