BACKGROUND
With a rich family history in Aviation, former Oil Trader & Royal Marines Reservist, Richard Browning, founded pioneering Aeronautical Innovation company, Gravity Industries in March 2017 to launch human flight into an entirely new era.

@@Taricus I initially thought it was reflective material but reflective material only looks bright when seen from near the same angle as the source of the light. At 2:06 you can see the LEDs on the strips. They're lights, not reflectors.
They certainly would need a transponder, ATS-B, and comms with ATC - to enter controlled airspace. The blanolirio channel (on TH-cam) discusses a fairly recent aircraft incursion with a jet pack near LAX.
This is everyone's dream. I hope in the future all of us can fly like this

Yes, although this flight is over water apart from take off and landing, and at relatively lower speeds and altitude. So good to see comfort always increasing. A resort in the Maldives helps keep things relaxed too ;)

This solution looks absolutely the best. Better than classic jetpacks and even flyboard air. Very precise control of flight, stability. Very very good achievement.

Not practical yet, jet engines burn a lot of fuel,
if I am correct, he gets less than 5 min flight time.

They burn way too much fuel to be practical, the original engine is actually a spin-off from a nuclear cruise missile program.
It needs to be talked about a lot more.

I see in the comments that a lot of people underestimate the skill and muscular strength needed to fly this contraption.
Don't understand why there isn't a substructure combined with harness to relief the pilot's arms/shoulder/breast. There seems to be enough power available to carry the extra few lbs.
On the other hand , ...these people , more than probably , know very well what they are doing.

These "Jet-Pack" designs date back 60-70 years. No design has ever shown promise. They are always questionable, bulky. impractical and dangerous. Flight time is always very short. I'm not sure why this company keeps banging their head against the wall. That thing is a joke.

Nah, that thing is heavy, if he do a backflip the gravity will pull him down and probably will not recover until he touch the ground, and a barrel roll will be catastrophic, this machine just work when you are vertical.
He needs some hip attachment “gas shocks with metal brackets” for his arms. So he could travel far. Something to where he could still freely move his arms, and not to hard to ware his arms out.

Now, to make this an Iron Man suit, we can do one of two things. First, we could make a more energy dense fuel source. As it currently stands, it is very hard to make a suit with a longer flight time because the longer the flight, the more fuel you need, the bigger thrusters you need, the more fuel you need Ad Infinitum. The other option is to create incredibly compact, super efficient thrusters.
The fuel problem could theoretically be solved by scaling down nuclear power. We've seen in recent years how small reactors can get, from reactors on planes and ships, to the new modular reactors which have been proposed as a safer generation of nuclear power. Unfortunately, we aren't there yet, and it'll probably be a few years before any real progress is made.
The thrusters issue is something I am not qualified to speak on, as I am not an engineer. If any engineers see this comment, I would like your input.
Yeah, the technology just doesn't exist yet. You're welcome to have a go at trying to invent it if you'd like. That's the true wonder of iron man, Tony Stark is just that intelligent. That's why when Obedia Stane was yelling at all of those genius engineers, "Tony Stark built this in a cave!" Their answer was, "I'm sorry, but I'm not Tony Stark."
U can scale dwn nuclear power, but u cant scale down its radiation and radioactive waste. Theoretically an enrich uranium the sized of a cherry could power a car for 100 years, in term of produced energy. But at the moment, it cant replace the fuel for obvious reasons : how to handle the radiation n the waste in its design system.
I am guessing this thing is crazy hard to fly since we don't see all different people doing it. It's like i-fly wind tunnels, there are some who can fly in there with ease while others never get the hang of it. But with this suit, it's like Hulk and Loki, where if you don't master it you land up saying, "I'll have that drink now."
Question. How come you guys don’t design a exoskeleton that connect the arm engines with the back engine? That way will reduce the need for strong arm holding the jet engines.
I think the man must use arms or arm engines to control where he want to go.

Actually not really the triple propell system keeps you balanced. As long as you can hold your arms out in front of you this is not bad at all. It's much harder to balance on two bars than this.
