Funny that I’m viewing this from my “Taylor” account, because I’ve been debating going back to my birth name as well. For years now. My original name was Starlyn, first name I was given while in the womb, up until two weeks before I was born when my Dad wanted to change my name to Taylor Ashlyn. About 9 years ago I went back to Starlyn, and in recent years, I’ve been feeling a pull to potentially reclaim Taylor as my name. I’m currently 8months pregnant with twin baby girls and it’s bringing me into a deep curiosity around how I want them to know me. Anyways, THANK YOU for sharing your truth with us - always. crazy how much of us relate, I'm always amazed how accurate blus podcast is to my life, but same, my name was supposed to be marella, but before I was born changed to josephine, but then in my teens I started going by marella/ella, but have been thinking about trying to reclaim josephine, maybe not the name but who I was. For me, I wanted to get rid of that version of me, and my dad picked that name and I wanted to break all ties from him. but it feels like josephine was a different person now, like not me, and I think badly of who I was, I think all the time how stupid I was, how ugly I was, how annoying, weird, and cringe, don't think anything positive. I imagined putting my old self into a grave when I renamed myself, was happy to put that version of me to rest, had no love for her

Most of our pasts are so cluttered w darkness thinking about ourselves in that time almost seems like a nightmare! lol but I think that’s where our shadow works comes in which I am now realizing as I write this. Very powerful and thank you for sharing, even if 9 months ago, I am watching it today, a day before going to see my mom, quite aged and sick now, to tell her that she has been a wonderful mother. I recently decided to change the story I have been telling myself for the last 20 years about our relationship. I changed my name 22 years ago, when I started my "metaphysical/spiritual path" and she is only one calling me by the name she gave me now. I like yourstory because it is very inspiring, I didn't see the aspect of needing to protect the little self, all I knew was that I woulkd drive 1000km to tell my mom what a great mother she has been, even if an ego part of myself is screaming that it is a lie. I am familiar and have used my Iching journal for over 7 years. Until I eagerly purchased the Gene Keys, I don't know what my numbers are, so I just toss the coins and cross reference from the other two Iching books. If you could help me find my numbers by chance? I will pursue harder either way but I thought it never hurts to ask for help. Thank you!

Very powerful and thank you for sharing, even if 9 months ago, I am watching it today, a day before going to see my mom, quite aged and sick now, to tell her that she has been a wonderful mother. I recently decided to change the story I have been telling myself for the last 20 years about our relationship. I changed my name 22 years ago, when I started my "metaphysical/spiritual path" and she is only one calling me by the name she gave me now. I like yourstory because it is very inspiring, I didn't see the aspect of needing to protect the little self, all I knew was that I woulkd drive 1000km to tell my mom what a great mother she has been, even if an ego part of myself is screaming that it is a lie. I will then add the reintegration of my "background name" to the journey, a part of me that I left alone in my psyche. We are entering "real" times. Thank you Charlotte !

That first episode prompted me to listen to more, until here I am: just as I’ve met you, you are retreating from the podcast to devote yourself to what your heart calls you to. I applaud you for “singing to Charlotte”. I was curious about the reasons for using “Blu” as your name and felt there was something missing, at least for me in getting to know you. It wasn’t until this video that I understood Blu to be “Beauty, Love, and Unity” - an appropriate mantra for your gifts - however, knowing you as Charlotte Victoria has suddenly given me a far deeper understanding of the essence of YOU. I will watch for your card set and thank you for coming along this week, just at a time I needed you, with the reminder I needed to resume having morning devotional time, a practice that was interrupted while traveling the full month of February.
