Comparing It To My First 35' Elco That Was "Sporterized" And Bought When I Came Back North To South Jersey, After Living In The Keys For 1/2 Dozen Years...It's A Totally Different Adventure, Nick! And I Thought A Couple Of Beefed-Up, Geared-Down Grey Marines Were Something! LOL!....Good Luck With It....That 40' Plus In Your Vlog, Reminded Me Of Seeing My First Fiberglass Cigarette With Twin 440's About 1978 A Couple Of Years Later After Leaving The Keys...LOL! It Was Called, "Running With The Devil"....Would Have Been Totally Appropriate For The Keys In Those Days! LOL
Enjoying the videos brother very nice to see you growing fast looking forward to one day coming down to fish with you or to collaborate on a catch clean cook here in Texas Jungle
Strange lower foots are gray. Does not look like bottom paint. That is strange, first one I seen. What is the new home port for the Hydro, in Fla or further up east coast?
If it is a “must move” joint, besides pb blaster, there is a cheaper method. Shim a thin piece of nylon washer, in the joint, before that washer worn out, you will have a couple years of smooth moving joint even it is pounding everyday by sea water. Make sure it is nylon or teflon, not just plastic, ordinary plastic will crack so quick in sunlight and saltwater before you notice, and you will have a klinking noisy joint.
Hydrasports are all composite, right? Is moisture still that big of an issue with Coosa or whatever composite material used? Why do surveyors worry about moisture today? I may be misinformed. If so, I do apologize. Just Curious... Beautiful Boat!! I have always heard good stuff about the brand. Thanks for posting! I really enjoy these videos. Your videos are very informative.
Moisture can still get in between the layers of fiber glass and rot out the fiberglass. Not sure what year but the earlier years of hydro sport still had wood in the stringers. What really put hydro sport on the map is the vector series had kevlar reinforced hull's. They are great riding boats but HEAVY! Hints why their not so good on fuel
@@chrishammer9891 Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that moisture was bad on fiberglass. Something to check on our 16 year old Coosa/fiberglass hull then. The boat stays in the water for 3 to 4 months of the year. The rest is on the trailer. We fish out of DE, Indian River Inlet.
Hey stanz im trying to sell my 20” 1993 hydrasports DC w a 2003 Yamaha ox66 200hp. Is $9500 too much to ask for? It needs some cosmetic stuff ie new corner piece for plastic windshield and gelcoat polishing but overall runs good hope all is well with you and the family
You help me I give you $150 worth of swordfish, that is proper. I love those older Hydros with the offshore bolster seats and loved when they used Livorsi throttles.
OMG,why so brutal on that sword fish?!?!you brutally broke his fin on camera.Ill pray you get this,it was enough to make some one stop watching your channel. GODSPEED.
Money does not buy you happiness, but it buys you a boat and that's a start!

You should collaborate with the Googan squad
I was looking for a 30-32 boat and saw this 34 on BT. I thought it was a good deal at $200k with like new motors but just too big .
