Of course it was a penalty, Nobody watching could tell from watching as it happened, The defender never contested it, The ref was right there and had a good view he gave it straight away, the replay showed his foot was clipped and VAR who don't do Liverpool favours gave it.

Anfield Agenda is awful. Why can’t we, as Liverpool fans, have a decent fan/watch along channel? I have to go to Goldbridge’s, and listen to the TV commentators rather than Anfield Agenda. Maych is a bit better, but not really in-depth. Redmen, too, but they just come short.
What Goldbridge has gotten right is having another general football channel, which he tries, and does a good job of unbiased objectivity. It takes the most ridiculous tribalism out of his Man United punditry and opinions. Anyone can just cheer a team on and call for big signings etc, which eradicate the need for more in depth, meaningful opinion and debate, as it helps with contextualisation.
Passion and emotion is good, but not everything. A good fan pundit is someone who can balance being a fan and being realistic/pragmatic about their club, and football in general, as strong emotions take away the ability to think rationally.
I guess I just don’t want a circle jerk, and if I was a Man United fan, I’d be less inclined to like Goldbridge, especially his anti City bias which is Craig @Anfield Agenda levels deluded and emotionally unstable. Well, not quite, there’s something off about that guy, but my point is made albeit through ‘Reductio ad absurdum’.
Craig should’ve called his second channel, which cover(ed?) all football, like That’s Football from Goldbridge. At least that would’ve been honest, which is always required for success in anything. To have a channel about football from someone who has the most basic understanding of the game, at best, and make it serious football insight is seriously lacking self awareness and probably an inflated ego.
