I love this! Im so glad people still play this game. But also I like that you tried working around where the villagers put themselves. I made tons of plot-reset towns but my last one pre-Horizons was one like this, where I was just letting the villagers vibe how they wanted. It was really really fun. 💙
yes! i was obsessed with plot resetting but it takes so long and when villagers move out randomly, you have to start all over again :/ this one was a fun challenge, especially since villagers only wanna move right in front of your house or very very close to it :p
You’re not alone when you talked about resetting your towns/island. I have the absolute WORST OCD, and as soon as I find something I don’t like with my town or island, I instantly want to restart and take 3 years to find a new layout that I actually like. The majority of my time playing New Leaf was just resetting because some maps were just horribly designed. Heh! I’m even starting to have thoughts about my New Horizons island because there’s some things I can’t change like the beach rocks that get in the way sometimes depending on your layout, river mouths and Resident Service’s location, but I’m trying to force myself to keep going because finding the perfect layout is almost impossible, you need some serious luck to get all the things you want, and there’s so much RNG, I know I’m not that lucky, so I’m trying to live with what I have and hope I either learn to live with it or get over it one day. My island has some pretty unique things about it unlike anything I’ve ever seen on other islands before for example, some of the beach rocks you can walk on are scattered close together, so I can jump from rock-rock without touching walking on the sand, so that’s pretty unique. Things like that are making me stay sane and not doing something so rash like deleting my island and restarting. It’s also because I’ve got so much time accumulated on this game, restarting would take SO MUCH WORK. Aha!
I felt every Word I have diagnosed OCD too and on ACNH when I upload my dream adress EVERYTHING must be perfect, if I notice grass after or that I was wearing the wrong outfit I go insane

Back in 2010, I first began playing animal crossing city folk, I played it for many years. I got acnl in 2016 and have been playing it since, however I never really worked hard on it. I just finished expanding every room in my house and I am still not completely satisfied with the rooms. I need to spend so much money changing the themes again. As for my town, it doesn’t have gardens of rare flowers and trees or any paths, it just has a few flowers and 0 weeds. I don’t have a single golden tool, I don’t have a cafe, the T&T emporium, the museum shop, or anything that someone usually has in their town. I barely have 1 mil bells in my savings account. Honestly, it’s a noob town lmao. I just decided to jump back into the game and I wanna work on perfecting my town, it’ll take a very long time but I want to be an animal crossing veteran that can actually show off their stuff. Your town inspires me and I hope that someday I will be satisfied with mine.

I'm still playing NL ... While playing NH.. NL is fun for me because its more simplier and its easy to make millions in NL. I still love NH though. Its just that the struggle was real at first, I play monster hunter more, I decided to chill and play AC again and I don't have online friends to play with since this ain't their jam but I really love AC. I love you town. Very aesthetically pleasing 🌸✨🌸✨

It doesn’t really have more stuff then New Horizons, with each Animal Crossing game comes more items! Maybe you feel as if there’s like more charm to it, or something like that!
i haven’t had any problems with items harming my game tbh, hacking only really harms your island if you add unachievable things like removing rivers or adding double town halls/retail’s

hi! most of my furniture is from trading i did when the game was relatively new and still super popular. a lot of it is also from the welcome amiibo card set and are exclusive to that as well. lots of ppl still play the game so maybe try posting on tumblr or instagram for friends!
yess just have to commit to one town. for this video i just recorded my 3ds screen with my ipad and edited with imovie. for my switch videos, i use the elgato hd60s capture card :)
lunamoo Did you use hacking to move villager houses or did you let them be where they originally put their house? And also, why do nearly all, if not ALL New Leaf hackers always move the news board? It's always supposed to be next to the train station -___-
Cutie & Friends Adventures i let my villagers naturally place all of their houses. i didn’t use any plot resetting or hacking. generally people move the message board next to the town hall, because in other games (wild world, city folk and even new horizons) the message board has been next to the town hall. it just makes more sense for me to move it because i imagine isabelle changes the news and then she wouldn’t have to walk all the way to the train station. it’s sure easy to move as well and doesn’t cause any glitches by moving it. it’s mostly just a personal preference and it’s fun to move things around to fit to your towns aesthetic :)
