I will NEVER shop a Walmart store ever again! People must not own a mirror in their home and showing all the body parts disgusts me. I’m getting sick and tired of all the ink and body piercing going on too. Guess I’ll just stay home!!!:):):)
I have purchased fabric from Joann Fabrics for more then 65 yrs . I will NEVER buy fabric, yarn or any other craft item from Walmart which is a cheap-cheap store. There is never anyone to assist you when needed. You have lost a long-term customer if you select Walmart ...I will not buy my sewing, yarn, craft needs from Walmart. How could you even think about doing this ? Ann Luthringer
If I can't get it at the thrift shop-as I work with all second hand fabrics -I would check out Walmart for scissors, needles as Joannes is super expensive here for just about everything they carry. Nice tour, I love these videos!
All our Walmart’s in my area are doing away with bolts of fabric and the cutting table . They are only going to have precut fabric. You can never find anyone to wait on you anyway.
Decades ago, I worked at a Cloth World. I could cut fabric blindfolded, underwater, with my hands tied behind my back. It's rare I see fabric in WalMart I want. The last time I did, there was no one to help. I cut my own fabric, and brought the rest of the bolt with me to the check out line. I was told "this is not how we do it." Okay. This is HOW I DO IT WHEN THERE IS NO ASSOCIATE IN THE CRAFT AREA. They quickly checked me out. Didn't even bother to measure the fabric, they took me at my word.
I only buy the Kona fabric at Hobby Lobby. The rest of their fabric is poor quality in my opinion. They used to have other brands such as Robert Kaufman and batiks but not recently.
Not all Walmarts have a pattern section (file drawer). We only have one Walmart (southern California) that has patterns (which is not even in a file drawer anymore because it was broken) so, needless to say, the pattern section is a Hot mess! But, I have bought several of their precut fabrics.
Hi Byrd! Waverly fabrics are very good quality but you can use them for draperies (my mom used Waverly for years), upholstery and craft projects. The faux leather that was Waverly may be ok for clothing but I don’t know!😊
My Walmart and super Walmart are great. 100% cotton Waverly fabric,Schmetz or Singer sewing machine needles, heat and bond, and poly fill . I’m set. Zipper selection is limited so I buy them elsewhere.
Does your local Walmart have a decent fabric selection?

Thank you for watching. It’s great to have options. Joann’s is by far my favorite local fabric store with small items.

Hobby Lobby is another option for fabric. Once a month, they offer 40% off. They have Kona solids.
Check out my hobby lobby review - thanks for watching

Thank you for watching. Please subscribe for more sewing content. I’ve purchased some pre-cut fabrics from Joanne for small tote bag projects.

Love hearing it - thanks for watching
That is a big store! But doesn't look like a place to depend on for any handmade items.
Thank you for watching. It is a huge store with limited crafty items
Didn’t know Walmart had any fabric - thanks for the information
It varies from location to location
I went to three Walmarts in slc and they only hade precut 1 yd pieces of fabric. They had no bolts of material.
There is so much inconsistency from store to store. Thank you for watching
Our Walmart on Adel Ga just finished remodeling again and they took away the whole fabric Dept no fabric needles thread scissors ✂️ nada nada all gone
I’m so sorry - that could have been a great opportunity to expand the fabric area
Thanks for watching
My Walmart doesn’t have Fabrics 😢
It’s crazy how it varies from location to location- Thanks for watching- please subscribe for more.
That's a big store, for sure! Can you say where, just the state, if you don't mind. When I started sewing, patterns were 65 and 75 cents!
Thank you for watching and yes it’s a huge store in MD
@@YogaByrdSews Thanks! Too far for a road trip from SC! 😜😜
