I have found a profound love story from Norway with an awesome storyline. Great actors, supreme director's. It is an early Christmas gift. I am truly sorry that Elias story with Petteri Paavola and Ronny Roslof and a host of other fine actors. I shall keep an eye on Finland. But I'm so glad for another love story. Secret Lives could have taken some direction from SKAM.

I think Sebastian just doesn't want to have a real funeral. It's just too much for his heart right now and having other people there makes it look and feel like a real funeral, which means it will be real for him that his son is really dead. But, yes Sebastian. Your son, unfortunately, is REALLY DEAD. This is real and it's really happening. And you have to face it. It may seem to others, both characters and viewers, that he is showing no emotion; but, he is a volcano of emotion about to erupt into an uncontrollable overflow of grief and despair. He is trying to not let that happen because it will hurt so so much. But, he has to. And though he doesn't know it, having all the people that love Elias with him will help him face that grief. I think Sebastian's part in this storyline, though very painful, reflects reactions that real people go through. Enjoying it so far.
He's gone because the PRODUCERS/WRITERS deemed it necessary to kill off another gay man because of the idea that a homosexual couple can't be an asset. It's always been known that gay actors or HOLLYWOOD/MEDIA will makethe ratings bottom out. It's they're STUPIDITY that made this love story end. I get so angry that this ignorance has leftmost of us left wanting. It leaves us mourning for Elias also. Petteri Paavola you shall be missed. We wish you the bestin your new endeavor. At least these writers didn't try to destroy Elias's reputation before they killed him off Days of Our Lives Killed off Will Horton too and it caused a backlash . I hope they take notice . The NEW Writers didn't want to write about a happy gay couple so before they killed him off they did what they could to make people not love him so much 1st they changed Will's character from a good man into a paranoid neurotic and had him cheat on his husband Sonny Than they had him get murdered by a serial killer .
For most fans, when Chandler Massey left, Will died. I have suggested that DooL should have Will, SamiJo, and the kids die in a suspicious crash on Pacific Coast Hwy. Fans could suffer Candler's loss while celebrating the loss of Allison "I'm never coming back" Sweeny. It could have been months of material as the who-dunnit could take place. Paul could still have been brought in but deal with Sonny's grief instead of reluctance to cheat. EJ died, why not add to the drama with a SamiJo death? I quit watching when Chandler left, having been replaced by a stuffed shirt.
Petteri wanted out. Instead of recasting with another blonde stud, they thought it would be easier to simultaneously release the character. Elias could have needed major facial surgery, allowing for our eventual attachment to the character replacement. . . or any of the many ploys when "now playing the role of ---- is ".
Guy -that is the actor's name who you called a "stuffed shirt" wasn't a bad actor just a hurried replacement who sounded like Mark Walberg . So you missed the wedding ? One more very important thing. Marriana!! What were the writers thinking of when they put her back into the picture?Talk about STUPIDITY!! Question, does anyone know why the original Ida left Secret Lives? Also, I saw a clip with Elias, Lari, and MarrianaIn a very recent video saying that there was more to come? Wish I could point to the exact clip, made it sound likesomething very interesting was yet to come. Hope so, they sounded very happy. Perhaps someone else saw the clip. You never know with a soap. In an article from March this year, it says the actress who played Iida before was ordered bed rest due to a knee infection. She was supposed to return as soon as possible, but lately I've been wondering whether she's coming back at all, it's been so long.. Wish she did, I liked her. As for the other clip you saw, I'm a little hazy on the details but apparently, Petteri Paavola left the show but almost immediately came back.. What his role will be is yet to be revealed.
All this talk about inventing or not inventing people to the funeral is very strange. A church funeral is a divine service and is, at least in Finland, always public. Hence it is not possible nor allowed to forbid or prevent anyone from attending.

I've always said that Will was really held prisoner by the DiMeras when he went off to Hollywood and the Will who came back wasn't really Will. :)
