Cool vid ! Have u ever grouted with Laticrete or something like that lol . They sell at floor and decor . Epoxy grout . I had a question about clean up . Should throw water on it when I’m ready to scrub with the white pad and then sponge up .
May one regrout one's shower with epoxy grout when the previous grout was the regular non-epoxy grout! In other words, a DIY regrouting after scraping out most of, but not 100% all, of the previous cement type grout?
What would you say about water seepage/leakage with respect to epoxy grouts? I'm super paranoid about this aspect of shower tile/grouting. Is it 99-100% waterproof? I took meticulous care in substrate waterproofing, (go board, polyurethane caulking as recommended, 3 coats of laticrete hydroban waterproofing, etc.) but was hoping epoxy would be the holy grail of water "tightness" in the shower area, especially the floor...
I usually stay away from white epoxy grout. Ive always been told that it yellows with time. I've used mapei's new max white lately and its great.
Mapei had yellowing for me

If it’s real epoxy, a small amount of excess water is ok during clean up.
I thought that by the time you put the epoxy grout on all that area it would have become too hard by that time?
How do you keep it out of the expansion joints where walls meet -- any trick or just being careful?
Did you put epoxy at the bottom at the joint to the floor?

Any yellowing issues with epoxy?

Yes!

It’s more waterproof than cement-based grout
What brand epoxy are you using? I don't see that container on my Amazon. Thanks, nice video.
Link is in description, thanks
Can this be applied on the 1/32 grout line?
It says only down to 1/16”. But I’ve definitely used it below that and have been fine. Only grout to guarantee that is regular unsanded 👍
I hope you dont think you did a good job..........
Do you have a video of yours showing the proper way?
