Reggae is a vibe ,before it is a style. as with all black music,its all about the feeling. and this band has the certain something that makes for great reggae music. it is deceptive in its simplicity . but that particular pocket is hard to get perfect. and easy ,as a lot of non-soulful musicians demonstrate, to get horribly wrong. Midnite is quite simply the best doing it right now.what gets called dance hall is not reggae as far as i am concerned. its one of the mutants that came from it.

I've found that writing a set list for Midnite is near impossible, Vaughn blends songs together so well that he's singing 2 or 3 of them at a time.
