    Still better than the universal camo pattern and in certain conditions better even than multicam.

    Sustainment pouches will fit on each side of that bag just to let you know if you don’t already I love that bag thanks for sharing

      I got the sustainment pouches but didnt attach em on the pack cause I wanted this pack as sleek as possible.

    You need to get the gen 4 frame. The frame you have are known to break. As a added bonus the later generation frames have a better curvature to distribute weight better. I have the three color desert camo version on the gen 4 frame, loaded with 50 pounds of gear it feels like nothing.

      This one is a bit taller frame than the frame you mentioned. It gives more higher load lifting angle which is good enough to hold heavy weight. For me, it has been holding up with no problem. I also got MOLLE2 large rucksack which is an improvement like you said.

    Molle Rifleman Pack those were a pain in the ass to keep the Sleep Carrier on the frame but I ran the straps thru the bottom of the main ruck itself that helped

    Nice pack. I have the 3 color desert tan version, but haven't used it yet.

      You got to try them out! I'm still much bigger fan of ILBE but US Army MOLLE ruck is somewhat a better option especially for the price!

    Would these straps and kidney belt work good with an ALICE pack and frame? I hear mixed things. I can't decide between that and an ALICE with the 1609 frame. Or a Molle ii ruck?

      I would recommend you to get Tac Tailor super straps and belt. Very comfy.

    do you know any good spots to put the standard 1quart canteen besides the waist belt?

    • @militarygearjunkie2522
      @militarygearjunkie2522  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can add sustainment pouches on the sides.

    • @WinterWarriors
      @WinterWarriors 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@militarygearjunkie2522 yeah, I was just asking because when I have the canteens on the waist belt it interferes with my chest rig and if I move them a little lower on the waist belt they hit the ground and then the bag is awkward to set on the ground, I also was thinking about moving them to the sustainment pouches but both of mine are full so I'm really in a pickle

    I am curious, can you mount an ALICE Frams to this?

    • @militarygearjunkie2522
      @militarygearjunkie2522  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I think you could if you try. I mounted my large ALICE pack on the LK35 frame. It fits like a glove. I have seen people mounting FILBE mainbag on the MOLLE2 large ruck frame.

  • @WinterWarriors

    you got your waist pad upside down, otherwise nice pack

    • @militarygearjunkie2522
      @militarygearjunkie2522  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. I put waist belt upside down on my FILBE and MOLLE2 packs, too. Its a little trick. Its better on my hip bones. I have seen it from soldiers doin it on the field.

    It's a shame that that pack gets a bad rap. All they had to do was put full Molle on both sides of that pack and you could have used the sustainment pouches or put you own more useful pouches on there. The pack is nothing more than a giant dump pouch. The front Claymore pouch was always over stuffed. People argued that that's the sustainment pouches were always good to fill up with your MREs. You always field-strip your MREs to conserve wait and get rid of the discards.

      The sustainment pouches fit on this gen 1 MOLLE ruck. There is just enough PALS webbing to attach them. Look closely.

    What is the name of this pack?

    • @militarygearjunkie2522
      @militarygearjunkie2522  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The first generation of US Army's rucksack system called 'MOLLE'. This is MOLLE large rucksack or mainpack I believe.
