    Excellent advice! Posh reviews are in love notes on the poshers “about” page. Anything under 5 stars will not show up there and is not visible to others.

    Thanks for the PM overview! I think another import feature for new PM sellers to be aware of is the feature of the notification from PM to all likers of a closet item, to which another liker has submitted an offer. This essentially can result in a " blind bidding war" between likers that can drive up the selling price of your item (as the other likers cannot see the other's offer price). My advice to new PM sellers is to hold off on accepting a mediocre offer right away (if you’re tempted to accept), so it can give the other likers of your item a chance to receive the notification of the offer, so that they can place an offer as well. I've had multiple instances of an initial offer of as low as 50% of my listing price, with subsequent offers on that item, as a result of the PM notification, that resulted in the item selling at my full asking price.

    I know this is an older video but it is the 5th or 6 th video I have watched on starting on Poshmark and it is the first one to address the algorithm differences compared to other platforms. At last!!!! Thank you . Great job!

    This was great insight I’m loving selling so far on Poshmark! Just started about 3 months ago and definitely see the value of sharing!

    This was really helpful. I’ve avoided Poshmark until now because it seemed complicated and I didn’t really understand it. Now I think I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for the info and tips!

    If they follow back will that increase my sales?
    Thank you and this video was very informative!

    So if you select weight of the item when you ship it you’ll take it to the post office for them to weight it again? I’m sorry I’m new to this and what if you have a post office so why choose select weight if they’re just gonna weigh it for you

    Great video! I been learning a lot of good tips from you.
    What do you do when an item sells on EBay , and Poshmark will not let you delete the listing bc you sent out an offer on it ?

    • @DealingWithDalton
      @DealingWithDalton  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you edit the size of the listing, Poshmark will cancel all offers and you can delete it

      @@DealingWithDalton I like to leave the Poshmark listing up if it sells on another platform just to keep my closet full. I go in and mark the item as Not For Sale.

    • @DealingWithDalton
      @DealingWithDalton  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@angelowldesigns7342 there’s no benefit to having a “full” closet. I’ve shopped closets before and the ones who have a bunch of stuff marked “not for sale” can be kind of annoying in my opinion

    Great video! I'm new to Poshmark and am reading all I can and I'm starting to get overwhelmed with some things. I am not good in Math and don't understand negotiating, discounts, etc. When someone likes my items, are we supposed to reach out to them? It's confusing to me. Thank you! 😀

    • @melq9437
      @melq9437 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm just someone who happened upon this video and was reading the comments. The answer to your question is Yes. You've probably figured it out by now but just go to the offer/price drop bar located beside the item someone has liked. Click on that and then click on Offer to Likers. Then there is a bar that says offer and a little calculator symbol that figures 10, 20, or 30% for you. Choose what you are willing to offer and then it makes you choose a discounted shipping price. Send. It's a lot easier than it may sound. I hope you are enjoying selling.

    I'm brand new to Poshm. Seconds after my first post, I get a person asking me to send her an email about the item ASAP. I thought " is this his it's done here? Glad I responded with only a question. How AM I notified when a person wants to buy or negotiate?

    • @gjungart
      @gjungart ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm new to PM too, so I'm sure you'll get a notification about sales or offers, but I can tell you that definitely sounds like a scammer! On any selling platform when someone wants to communicate off the app, I just ignore them

    Is it acceptable to list the same item on eBay and Poshmark at the same time? Or does it violate either Sellers rules? Thx. Appreciate all of your videos. Obviously, I'm a newbeeeeee. 😊

    If you are new to Posh and have maybe one or two followers won't sharing the startup closet with one or two people every day be spammy? And what if you have no followers?

    • @DealingWithDalton
      @DealingWithDalton  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it’s not spammy. The feed & amount of followers doesn’t matter. We have to share as much as possible so our listings always show up at the top of search results

    • @angelowldesigns7342
      @angelowldesigns7342 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DealingWithDalton I’m new to Poshmark, only about 5 weeks in with 4 sales so far, and I’ve always heard from the TH-camrs to share your closet 3 times a day. Just curious if you know why it’s 3. I also read on Reddit that a Posher over shared and was put in “share jail” meaning they were restricted from sharing their closet for like 72 hours or something. I’ve never heard of this happening to anyone else. Maybe it’s in PM’s rule book or something…? By the way I enjoy your posts.

    • @DealingWithDalton
      @DealingWithDalton  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@angelowldesigns7342 it’s not specifically 3. It’s as many times as you can. The more the better, but 3x a day is a good start. You will never get put in “share jail” by manually sharing. The person who it happened to was more than likely using a bot. But if it does happen to you it’s not a big deal. It doesn’t last long

    If the parties and all of that doesn't help why doesn't Poshmark do away with it. I wish Poshmark would streamline.

    I don't understand a Poshmark selling tips video where someone just talks to the camera and never shows using the site. This is a visual medium, and people learn visually. How do you expect someone to get value just watching your face when you could be showing interacting with the actual site? Skip.
