Except for the heavy grinding, and lack of fast travel and quest log :D But other than that it was indeed a masterpiece :D Especially the PAL version, with end game content where you face off against Kurt :D
Well, If you know what to do, when to do and in which stats you should allocate points in order to get the best from your desirable evolution there isn't much need to grind. But the rest I completely agree.
Well the heavy grinding is part of the fun for some people. There aren't many games that are both colorful and grindy. Maybe the real thing that made it feel so grindy was the generic techniques, besides ultimate attacks.
the best part is the whistle so relaxing , especially on a Sunday morning . my friends always ask why you are always whistling the same repeatedly what song it is
Best thing about DW3 was the music and the card game battles! I wish they would remaster this game for the Switch. I could just play the card battles all day.
There's actually a game that came before DW3 that's only card battles, it's Digimon Digital Card Battle for PS1 and it has the exact same mechanics, loved that game too.
There were definitely some flaws to this game and the graphics haven't really aged considerately well. That being said, I still find myself playing this game at least once every year and usually, this is the song that makes me want to go back.
sigurdtheblue The negatives were mainly aimed at the grinding. I love the graphics, especially for it's time. I share this view with a lot of old games that I played when I was a kid. However, I can't help but to look back on them now and question some things here and there. There's nothing really wrong with that... is there?
I'd say that this game's graphics actually aged rather well compared to other 3d games on this era. And yeah, this song is very uplifting. Perfect theme to encourage beginners to keep on playing, or veterans to replay.
@@silanamthiang7191 Allow me to disagree. Even at the time the game was released it got 6 or 7 out of 10 mainly because of the extreme backtracking, subpar 3d graphics and animation (remember 2002 the PS2 is already out), and sudden difficulty spike (especially when you reached the Amaterasu server at the first time).
I am 30 now - and in 2003 when i got this game.. i was only 12/13... best time of my life.. still enjoying this music when i go to Sleep *-*
Same here, I have it on my Smartphone emulated, still a blast!
28...I feel you man everyday was a new adventure.

I am 30 now, was 10 when I got this game. This soundtrack almost makes me cry every time I listen.
Same here. Good times indeed.
Never cry for what you have lost, Smile for memories and experience.
this BGM makes me cry.... this game is a masterpiece!

I would like a remake of this game

The graphics are possibly the best on Playstation 1 though.....
