It was only rosin. He was just using a lot, and unfortunately like you both pointed out, it’s completely subjective. He was using a lot of rosin and was obviously sweating, bullshit suspension.

Diaz needs to appeal this. Appeal and be available to close out games on the Yankees and Astros series. Then serve out his 10 game suspension when the schedule dies down and we play the Nats and Colorado going into All Star Break.

Gelbs isn’t bad. I like the fact that he doesn’t get seemingly sexually aroused by the other teams’ great players just drilling it into our heads about how great those particular players are. We get it, they’re great players. I don’t need to hear it every 2 minutes. We don’t need to talk about them like they’re superhumans that sh!t gold in their spare time. That’s what Gary does that makes me mute the TV sometimes. It’s like he’s got a tape recorder strapped to his arse. I appreciate that Gelbs doesn’t do that.
Define cheating. If substances were allowed in the first place, which IMO, those SHOULD be for PITCHERS, then no. He's not cheating. He's trying to get a better grip on the ball so he can throw his sliders goddamit! How else is he gonna be able to do his job??? MLB need to get their heads out of their asses for real.
