Damn it, this is the Kyuhyun I wanted! After watching Kyuhyun slay it with Jungmo on Immortal Song, I was hoping for this kind of debut. I will take rock over ballad any day. And this was epic. Now please add the vocals to make it magnificent! :D
I think this kind of singing is harmful to Kyuhyun's vocal chord in the long run, and that maybe why SM doesn't let him debut with this genre.

张艺兴 wow my comment was like 2 years ago. but then again it depends on the generations tbh. most kpop fans nowadays are new and they dont know HOT glamourous days. Look at Super Junior for exp. They were hotter than Big Bang was in Singapore back in 2011. won fav artists or something. but now look, if you're gone for a few years, only few fans will stay. They are still remembered but sadly they popularity won't stay because let's be true here. Most kpop fans after for looks. as new looking idols come, they go to the another. Sm really needs to give more credits to their artists. Instead of great looks, these talents ought to have chances to stand out. I always have a feeling that sm really couldn't grasp public's taste. Take suju as an great example, I think up to now, sm might still havn't figured out why suju became a big hit internationally, just like they didn't expect kyu's solo would be this successful,too. Trax did a really good job.
SM should promote TRAX more! I dont even know they still exist if not for this ... I discovered TRAX because of Seohyun ( my bias) .Seohyun was on their mv and Jungmo also taught her how to play the guitar... Wow. This guy is really awesome! Really! I listen to Punk and Heavy Metal Rock music so I know what im saying.

this arrangement sounds that some of the japanese anime series or even some taiwanese drama theme songs, has that feel to it. Kyukyu and Jungmo should perform this ver. in an SS concert or even a SMTOWN concert some day

I liked it tho I can't believe Jungmo was actually at Gwanghwamun while Kyu was on a set lmao SM you do almost everything wrong (I mean a 90 % of the time)
It is because SM didnt believe Gwanghwamun will be a hit song, so they just made Kyuhyun a cheap MV, which, I must say, looks like a powerpoint presentation.....
hahahaha I couldn't have said it any better, SM hasn't learn to trust their talents, Kyu's voice it's amazing, it's a really nice ballad, ofc it was going to be succesful, maybe they didn't thought it was going to be such a hit, but with Kyu's voice and those really nice lyrics and arregements... it was going to like to many people and deserved a better MV

no, it's not weird. if you're a ballad person like me, you would love original version. this one, although it's not bad, but prefer the original cuz it's more relaxing to my ears. there are just two different genres. Original one is ballad, and this one is rock. the amazing thing is that, Kyu is capable to sing both ways. he had done rock singing bfore featuring jungmo at IS2 :D
I am not exactly a ballad person - there are a lot ballads that I absolutely LOVE, but most of them just don't shine for me...
I really enjoy this version, it has the notes that I adore in the original version - but with a much more powerful sound. I loved it.
Yeeeeees, Kyu is algo great singing rock songs - I watched his performance with Jungmo in Immortal Song II and it's just FLAWLESS.
Camie Moura yeah different people, different preference. I just love Kyu's voice, ballads or rock. he can conquer all genres and still sound good although his dream and priority is to be a ballad singer that you'll think he will only good in ballad but he isn't. Amazing vocalist indeed. :D
