Cutting my bangs - with a vintage manual hair clippers!

Wow, look at this old hair cutting manual clippers! I cut around 5" off or so of hair. After the clippers jammed, I flicked my Oster clippers to life to finish cutting my hair. I picked up a hair cutting scissors for a more precise hair cut.

I'm 71 and my mother used to cut my hair with this type of clipper when I was a kid. (I called them the "lawnmower") What I remember is that they hurt - probably because they jump around. Years later, my father broke down and bought electric clippers which didn't hurt. (I didn't get a barber haircut until I was in high school!)
