Your factory plug is an NGK BKR5E-11. The 11 stands for 1.1mm gap. The number after the dash will indicate the spark plugs' gap.

Thanks for expanding my knowledge! I didn’t know that about 11 meaning a 1.1mm gap!

You either need more fuel or less air to change the AFR. The plug is either hot enough to fire the mixture or it isn't.

Hey man, I've been watching your Pioneer 500 maintenance videos and they've been a great help in keeping my machine in tip top shape.
I've got a question that I could use some help with. At least one of the brakes makes a metallic chirping noise when I drive it. At first I figured it was probably just sand in between the brake pads and rotor and it would work itself out. Now after a good 50 to 100 miles it's still making the noise. I've tried hosing it out with water to no avail. The thing only has 1000 miles and 225 hours on it, so I doubt that the pads are worn or the rotors are damaged, although I haven't actually opened it up to check.
If you have any idea what it could be please let me know.

If you ride a lot of mud and sand than your pads could most definitely be worn out at 1000 miles. Also your calipers could be hanging up a bit too so if you tear into it to check the pads and they still have life left grease up the caliper sliders good.

Something you can check that happened to me on mine is the rear brake caliper. Mine had dirt and small bits of gravel packed around the pads making it squeak randomly whether I used the brakes or not.

My first guess is brake caliper too. It’s a single brake caliper directly on the rear drive shaft and it can be hard to clean which will make it stick and like @Nick Brown said dirt can get trapped against the pads making them squeek. I suggest pulling the caliper and greasing up the caliper slides good!

I just got a brand new 2022 p500 and it somtimes bogs when trying to shift and won't shift into the next gear. It is cold out nad it has super low miles what could it be?

If it’s when you first start out that’s normal for a cold P5. It’s takes a bit to get some heat in the oil for it to shift. Mine does that too till it warms up a bit.

@AppalachianMountainRiders ok thanks it has like 18 miles on it just wanna make sure it's ok.

They use oil pressure to shift so when it’s cold it will do that. As long as it shifts fine once it warms up it’s fine. Make sure when you do your brake in service to adjust your clutch too!

@@AppalachianMountainRiders how many miles before I adjust the clutch?

Just whenever you do your first break in service.
