The game is great but, listen to commentary carefully they are just praising gayatri...I mean Tai Tzu Ying is legend and you are just not giving her the deserved respect..I felt that.
Tai Tzu Ying is "INCREDIBLE", what I love about her is she is a calm player & doesn't show much emotions while she is playing & she always makes it up...she has "GREAT SELF-CONFIDENCE"
Fantastic performance by Gayatri. At 16 yrs, this is a great start for the champ. Now, all she has to do is to BELIEVE in her strengths. Becoming a champion starts with believing they are the champion. Gayatri was able to beat Tai Tzu Ying in the first set- That is not an accident. If she can pierce through a world champion, she is already one. I am very looking forward to seeing Gayatri play in future tournaments.
@@arunjosep1410 Perhaps you do not understand connotations, yeah? "actually she won the game as per me" - the "per me" here suggests that the OP is not implying about winning one game, but the contest (figuratively) - because she had definitely won the game, everyone saw that, theres no need for an "actually" or "per me" there if he was just reiterating a plain fact. Also notice OP said she won "the game", not "a game". But then I guess such nuances go over your head.
TTY in her mind: In the 1st set, "She is just 16 and she needs a victory against me to boost her confidence n morale. And also, I need to read her game too. Let her take the set." In the 2nd n 3rd set: "Ok, u have a bright future, but, never mind, I need to win this match. So, give me my match" GG has a bright future ahead. With her father to her side is another plus point.
Looked like T.T.Y was just testing Gayatri in game 1 just to get a feel of her gameplay and mould her shots accordingly. From game 2 onwards, T.T.Y never really gave Gayatri a chance to hit those cross court drops and went for the kill as soon as Gayatri went into defence.
My Taiwanese sister Tai Tzu is one of the best ever. This friendship game between Gayatri n Tai Tzu will enhance our country relationship also. Nice game. Loads more of tricks to learn from Tai by Gayatri. All the best to both .
Gayatri played very well in her first match. She has good eyes on shuttle but needs a lot of improvements. None of our coaches teaches the backhand shot to youngsters. if you have strong front-end and super strong backhand, you can beat world # 1, mens badminton player. Start coaching 9+ years old kids, by the time they reach in teens, they would be world class leaders. Go to villages in India, you will find tons of talent.
If someone has to learn how to disrespect by praising in such manner then these commentators are the best😑... Tai tzu ying is such a great player she deserve more attention and respect as well . She took some time to settle down on the court and gayatri took advantage of that ... i.e. very clever of her ..... But from the second game she shows us who is world no. 1
I love how everybody is just busy praising the most popular player instead of appreciating both the player's for their gameplay especially the new ones who come to make a name for themselves

Yeah , having dad as coach , I expected the performance to be better, could see no long time strength in legs of 17 yr young kid , need to improve strengths an lean muscle , cos we don’t keep getting many opportunities like this all the time since u have the best exposure to academy in Gachibowli hope u build the tiger strength on court , as I saw the match I can see the clear sign of fatigue in lower limbs , an no strength to play effective strokes to put tai under pressure, winning one game from tai is not a big deal even district level player would have won the first match easily by putting all his energy , but here the matter is staying max duration on court while still maintaining the effective strokes an game play which puts pressure on opponents Hope to see u be like tiger in the next games u play after better training an strengthening 👍
Child Prodigies are abundantly available in every aspect of the sport and art. But they will never be given any chance. Because you are not someone who have an influential guardian at your back. As usual Tai Tzu read her opponents strength's and weakness's from the first game and then started destroying her opponent with hammer, that too with ease and relaxed manner. All through the last two games, Tai Tzu's opponent was just trying to anyhow return the cock. Tai Tzu was in full control of the game. But I don't have any complaints against these IPL's and PBL's, because, everyone knows that it is not for talent hunt, but just for entertainment.
the indians think that tzy is playing seriously against the child. if tzy plays seriously does the child easily get points, think with ur brain dude. tzy doesn’t play like that and it treats it like an exercise only. among tzy's specialties is that she is able to welcome the shuttle on various sides even though it is difficult to take...
