We do not fight against a people or a faith, but against the great evil that corrupts this world-an evil that preys upon all, regardless of creed. Let us fight not with hatred, but with honour, protecting the innocent and shielding the weak. May we stand as allies, united against the true enemy-the darkness that seeks to consume us all.
I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by those old, proud times. Maybe from our perspective, the dedication to the cause that the Templars represented seems strange to people. But they lived a simple, honest life according to principles and their faith. Now life has a million threads, we are overstimulated, there are no principles or faith anymore. Money is God, people will do anything for it. And when they finally have it, they lose the last of their humanity.
As long as there are those willing to follow the Path of the Templars, their code, ethics, and way of life will never die. Keep your head up, and move forward, my friend.
Sounds like you made a diagnosis. Now write yourself the prescription… Prayer and meditation on the Lord. We can be like the Templars and other knightly Orders, the Hospitallers and Order of St Lazarus are still about. They do great charity work and try to embody the original principles in a modern world. There are even some good reconstituted orders of the Temple to get involved in. Might inspire your journey. Blessings to you. 🙏🙏🙏
Brothers and sisters, see in their rise the providence of God! For when the Holy City was delivered, the Lord did not abandon His faithful. Instead, He raised up these knights as guardians of His heritage. They stand as a testament to the enduring power of faith, a beacon of hope in a world still darkened by sin and strife. Let us, therefore, honour the Knights Templar and strive to emulate their zeal. May their example spur us to take up the spiritual arms of prayer, charity, and devotion. For though our battles may not be fought with steel, we are called to wage the eternal war against the forces of evil. And in this war, as in all things, we march under the banner of Christ, our eternal King.
