Anyway, I'm gonna try that build def too :D Right now I'm playing slightly different version of that "bugged" build, rocking Exploding Palm with +19% dmg head essence and burn offhand essence, it's quite a fun build too 😅
Hope you keep doing monk stuff, your the only real monk creator left.

Really wish shield of zen was a bit stronger, even at 5k res it's as if it doesnt exist. Also, everytime i see you in BGs i just hear you laughing in my head :D
The key is to improve shield cycle. Add more sources of shields to prolong zen. Aside from mounte and other leg gems, try shield invocation using dash as proc. 6pcs dash invoc gives you 9secs cd shields every time you dash

Its the weakes because its the hardest to play.
You need to have good control of characters and improving yourself skills.
Other classes received auto aim skills so it why people prefere to play this classes.
I hate this auto aim essences its shouldnt be in pvp.
You can also try this fun-build: Blessed Sanctuary + 57% shoulders + 19% Flying Kick.
With 4x Gloomguide you do massive damage. Kick, Mystic Strike, Inner Sanctuary, 2x WoL. BOOM.
Good build, but I can't give up Shield of Zen in my PvP builds.
@@KillSwitch.Playground do you use Zen Shield with the +10% magic affix? I have not found one yet...

i'm a monk user i have 3.6k (53%wr) points in BG last season, now i'm at 3.2k (50%wr) with 1.3k resonance. my job is to disrupt those backline (i know monk's damage is weak so killing is not my top priority). it's best asset is the very high movement speed in the chest essence and dash skills (mystic strike + flying kick) to penetrate the backline and do your thing then die 😆.
They also fixed the shoulders! You only have 2 charges now but they do +57% DMG now ;)
Probably the new class is gonna make monks the weakest class in the game 😂😂😂

Actually monk is pretty balanced .Monk is only considered the weakest class because of the high skill ceiling. But once you devote time in practice its really viable. Currently i have 3.5k points in bg with 3032 reso using a dps build no domes no inner sanc

@seanignacio2179 Yup. Monk takes time to play it properly.
A build will be effective depending on the lobbies you are mostly in. In your case, a DPS build. In my lobby full of whales with 9k+ reso, a support build is better. I did spam a DPS build, but my win rate went down to 40%. With support, it is going up slowly to 50%.
Checking the BG leaderboards on our server, most of the top 10 with 3.5k BG points plus are below 4k reso. We even have a mega whale around 9.5k reso with r9 plus normal gems who always uses the meta class but is still around 3k BG points, jumping up and down between Gold and Legend. I guess money can't buy everything.
Silly question, given shield of zen is the only one that's a dash skill, doesn't this make the gloomguide set almost redundant?
4 dash charges, 1 in Shield of Zen and 3 in Flying Kick.
@@KillSwitch.Playground Flying kick isn't counted as a dash - it's "gather/control"
It is. Check the gameplay. Every time I use flying kick, Gloomguide procs below my avatar.
