Just love how you irrespective of your hectic mba schedule, don't forget to do vlogs..some days you need to pull all nighter, waking up at 4.00 am, feel like not to record ..still you preferred to keep going.

please share your cat preparation journy when, how , and from where you taken coaching and mocks , when you started giving mocks ,your marks in mocks in starting to the end. if possible you can VARC section how you started and all that.

Hey Amol, really appreciate your videos. They're really helpful for me to not give up on my CAT prep. I also graduated in 2023 itself in BSc. Agriculture. I have my acad (9/9/8). I scored 92.83%le in CAT 23, missed the CAP for merely 2%le. Now I'm thinking of having a drop year for CAT 24 preparation. But I lack in VARC section. Can you please suggest me how to improve this section? and can you suggest which certification courses I can do to boost my CV and justify my gap year as well? Thanks in advance.
Hello! Glad you found the videos helpful. You can choose those certification courses which are really relevant, such as blockchain, lean production, 6 sigma, tableau etc!

Bhaiya, are students not allowed to disclose any details that could have contributed to the selection upon converting any IIM? or is it just an IIMV thing?
Not all of it but yes we’re not allowed to disclose our percentiles. I have friends in other IIMs and there too they’re not allowed to do so

confused in choosing One (ONLINE) which goes from basic help me to choose one
Mostly I prepared by myself but practised from PYQs and Arun Sharma books
i saw cat previous question papers.... they are a bit tricky but not hard compair to the questions usually coaching institute give. help me in this.
Yes because the coachings prepare you for all kinds of scenarios. You should practise harder questions so that on the D-day you find the actual paper easy :)
Can I add 3rd sem marks in the cat form? What is the document verification procedure when appearing for the intervew?
A valid attempt requires you to be student of the last year (or at the completion of 3rd year)of your bachelors . Before interviews all your marksheets upto that year or semester will be verified

I have just started working in a company my joining date was 02 May 2023 still working..going to fill the cat application form ..should I mention my work experience till July 2023 ..likes it's just 3 months so is it worth mentioning in the form ??or I should just leave it blank??in application form they r going to consider me as a fresher..please help wht should I do??
Hey! Yes you can fill it if you want to but you’ll be treated as a fresher only as they only award work-ex points to those having work-Ex above 12 months or so. But it’ll surely have some positive impact on your profile during the interviews :)

Hey! First of all your profile is not totally bad. Your acads are decent and you've got a decent percentile too. Just perform your best in the interviews as IIMV gives 48% weightage to the interview. Also, If you're able to justify your gap years then there is no problem at all. Hope this helps :)

Bro i would suggest to you don't try to cover all the topics. Only focus on lucrative topic which is commonly asked in cat and complete all this important topics in next 2 months and after that try to give mock and analysis.
Note : only important topics of all 3 sections you can touch 90+ % ile.

That depends on college to college :)
What if I don’t have any POR neither in my college days nor in my work experience
Then you can focus on getting a great percentile and some serious certification to compensate that!
Sir my class 12 marks was 49% will it effect me to getting in IIMS?
Yes some colleges have a minimum criteria for 12th marks you can check that out on their websites :)

Since you are a fresher, I would recommend any percentile above 96-97 to get into a good IIM :)

Hi brother I'm ahamed, my profile is 97/84/88(10th/12th/grad) obc ncl, fresher engineer, male and my cat percentile is 94.79ile.. with an average interview in cap, amritsar, lucknow...will i can comvert any???😅😅😅

Sir i have done graduation and pg from history. But my grad marks are very poor 55% and pg is 80 %will i not be getting any iim call coz of this?and does pg count?
I think some IIMs have a criteria for minimum grad marks you can check that on their websites.
@@amol.katiyar minimum is 50% but academicaly will it effect in converts.
@@palaksrivastava8533 yes it may affect to some extent. But still you have a chance to convert if you give your best in the interviews :)

If it is an SOP then you can straight away mention them. If you are preparing a CV then you may add them under the sections of Past Experiences :)

Definitely Vizag. BFSI emerged as the top sector in the placements of 2024.

A lot depends on the interview as IIMV gives 48% weightage to PI. Give your best in the interviews and you’ll make it :)

@@amol.katiyar Bhaiya I had another doubt regarding SAP process ..the students selected from SAP..do they compete with the CAP students for the particular college(like bodh gaya or jammu)..or they are considered only after if seats remain empty after the CAP selection?? It's not mandatory just focus on cat
You can cover up for those things later for now focus on getting a great percentile!

@@amol.katiyar Bhai you must be talented, Job ke sath dhang se nahi ho pa raha hai. Kuch tips dedo. Kya kia tha itne kam time me clear ho gaya 🙏
Start from the basics as it covers appx 30% of the paper. Then only you can go on to advanced topics. Secondly, mocks are a must thing try attempting atleast 20-25 mocks before the actual exam. Apart from that making a habit of reading Aeon essays and editorials can be a game changer. If you religiously follow these things the exam can be cracked in 3-4 months!

Hey. Agar allowed hota toh i’d have been the first one to share with you all my percentile. And yes, percentile “achha” hai ya nhi, we can decide that later on, first try coming amongst the top 3-4 percentile in CAT and then then we can have a detailed equally balanced discussion on this :)
