Manaus (2023) is a city in Brazil. It is the largest city in the state of Amazonas in the Amazon Delta. The city of Manaus has a population of 2,3 million. It is the only city in the Rainforest Amazon area. The city of Manaus was founded in 1669 and become quite rich at a time when the city had the world monopoly in the rubber production. Some highlights of Manaus are the Municipal Clock Tower, soccer stadium Arena da Amazônia, the Rio Negro Cable Steal Bridge; the Amazon Theatre; the neighborhood Adrianópolis and the rich neighborhood and beach of Ponta Negra.

Um dos negócios que mais tem crescido aqui são barbearias. E o que mais se vê é garoto barbado. Meu filho mais velho é um que duas vezes por mês vai ao salão fazer a barba. Depende também do lugar em que se monta o negócio. Tem ruas que não dá nada. Tem outras que não faltam clientes. Se conseguir um lugar na rua do Comércio, no Parque Dez, tu está feito, mas, na rua do Comércio 2, que é bem pertinho, tá lascado
