Hey I am from SWE, and just bought a Focus 2 for appr 300 USD. I've been a dinghy-sailor for 20 yrs, so I know some of rig-tuning. Well here's the problem. In very light wind, say 2 mps, it is very hard to tack upwind, it just fall back, so my thought is that a wider/broader rudder could help. Do you think it is a good idea? (I do the rudder very smoothly not to get it to function as a break.)
@@sailwars that game is in the apple store, it's called "VR Inshore", it's a good way for people to incorporate the rules of a regatta and the mechanics of the boat and wind. I'm going to buy the Focus 3. I'll tell you how it went later. Thanks for all the valuable advice!
for someone looking at a Focus this was a good legit comparison.keep it up.
Thanks, will do!

Bart likes to use as little rudder as possible because of drag.
I love watching these regattas! Do you prefer the Focus 2 or the Focus 3? Am I playing with the VR Inshore app? do you know her? do you recommend any?
I like the Focus 3 better. I'm not sure I've played the app?
