In this video I want to show how to make a Boombox speaker using acrylic. I hope anyone can make it by following this video.
The lights for the stands and the boombox logo just use Fastled Library color palette from ARDUINO IDE for programming Arduino nano or pro mini.
The SP107 music controller is used for VU Meter, for effects and brightness it can be adjusted via Bluetooth with an Android phone / IOS.

the complete design of this project is unreal if i saw this in a shop i would definatly buy it without hesitation great video .
There is a moment, where I have to admit, doing this is out of my league.... Fantastic work!
Very nice and eye catching project. A few remarks, if you don"t mind.
First of all, at this volume level the cabinet should be around 1 cm thick to eliminate any resonance. (Obviously the MDF panel is the most OK, but in this case the LED lights will be lost.) On the other hand, I would put all the electronic parts, as possible, in a separate compartment.
To amplify the sound quality and the stereo effect, I would go to separate and damped compartments for the speakers to, noting that the location of the tweeters in this project is not optimal, because it almost cancels the stereo effect: the tweeters should be placed on the top left and top right of the bass speakers. Not in the case of bass, but high frequency sounds are quite directional as I know.
(You can use full range speakers to eliminate the tweeters: this could be a solution.)
There are special programs through speakers can be designed, I think in this case the use of such a program could greatly improve the quality of the sound, which in my opinion is perhaps more important than the light effects.
You must choose between the reflex port(s) and the passive radiators: they really cancel each other as somebody tells below.
I would add an external AUX source (the classical 3.5 mm mini jack) to because it sounds far better than any bluetooth transmitted music.
Another suggestion would be that the top to be mounted inclined, the spectrum analyzer would be much more visible from distance.

Getting the Acrylic Cut is going to be the hardest part for most people, as a laser is something not my people have access to.
Looks Fantastic when finished.
Don't have to use a laser for cutting acrylik. You can do manual cutting like using a cuttter knife or wire element 😀

This is the coolest looking LED speaker I've seen so far. Aside from it having Harmon Kardon Passive Radiators which make it sound 3x as POWERFUL and gives it the BOOM, you should start your own company. But I dont know how Harmon Kardon will feel about you "taking" their stuff but for the rest, but if u were to sell these in any of the stores, I'd hella buy it because of the LED lights. 😂😂😎

Very clean and well built build. I have been pondering a similar less flashy version with a few added features. I would suggest a built in tablet and or monitor for the ultimate experience. Monitor could be substituted for a pico projector to be used as a portable cinema.

You can cut acrylic without a laser cutter. There are acrylic cutting blades that you can buy for jigsaws. Use that with a guide for nice straight line

This is easily one of the most unique builds I have seen on youtube. Execution was flawless. I do have one concern. You added passive radiators on the sides but then a bass reflex port on the back. These two designs cancel each other out. Passive radiators cannot work without a fully airtight enclosure. Technically the port can work even with the presence of the radiators but I would stick to one enclosure design. Sealed with radiators or ported

Что касается красоты, то тут без всяких вопросов на 5. Что по поводу практичности, то тут дело на троечку, корпус очень хрупкий, даже не смотря на то, что установлены демпферные ножки, все равно, из-за частого использования появится резонанс с элементами корпуса, который склеен цианокрилатом, в общем, акрил хоть и красивый материал, но для акустики не годится. Кстати по поводу подсветки, я ожидал, что подсветка будет работать от аккумулятора вместе со всей обвязкой, ну или хотя бы обвязка будет работать совместно с подсветкой от сети, но тут ни рыба ни мясо. P.S. не стоит паять литиевые элементы питания, да и приклеивать их на друсторонний скотч тоже.
Думаю, автор и не ставил перед собой задачу обеспечить долговечность конструкции. Лишь бы хватило времени, чтобы снять видосик и залить на Ютуб, а там трава не расти. Так что цель достигнута.
