GENIUS!!! I ended up with the same message and actually found the problem with my connection was a Windows Driver error. Turns out it removed my IPv4 certificate completely and it wasn't even installed, thus throwing the DNS error. Maybe check this too (it's the Install button) when this error appears on your PC. Both of the solutions didn't work. While performing the second method and typing command ipconfig/release, it states as "media is disconnected", "LAN is disconnected" and one other. Do you have any solution for this?
