I bought this game as soon as it launched because watching this playthrough of the first month got me so excited to play it for myself. No regrets. Absolutely lovely game. Thanks for bringing this absolute gem to my attention because I hadn't seen any promotion for it at all before seeing you play it. I might have missed out on my new favourite game!

I didn’t catch you live though and every time you threw away a bottle I wanted to yell STOP through the screen. You can OPEN the empty bottles you get fishing and they give you recipes 😅 Learned this today as I’ve been playing myself.
It really is not very clear- it would have been nice if the bottle had a scrap of paper in it to cue that you can open them. The ramune bottle is cute and on theme but my first thought was not that the bottle would open.

This game looks like so much fun! Loving the streams of it. Kinda off topic, but you mentioned that you really hated the fishing in Dinkum. Once I figured out that I didn't need to spam the "reel in button" - just hold it - AND once I got the rhythm down (click once to hook the fish, immediately let go of the button and let it run away for 3 or 4 seconds, then reel it in, let it go for a couple seconds when it runs again, reel it in, and repeat) it was a lot easier. In a new map/second playthrough I started I had a bag full of Barracuda on Day 3.It's also easier with a better fishing rod and with the buff from eating Fish n Chips. Plus the book from the museum makes it super easy to find any fish you want. It took me a little while to get used to it, but it's one of my favorite fishing minigames now and it's super profitable (cooked saltwater fish is always more profitable than selling a whole fish and Ted Selly will buy them for double, Sheila will buy them for 2 1/2 times the value when it's her "food of the day"). I hope you get back to playing that game too, I'm enjoying the update a ton. The airport is a cool addition.
I feel like during the night market, the better friends you are, the more willing they are to pay higher prices. I noticed the people more willing to pay higher were those you had higher hearts with. I could be wrong though!
That bottle on the stump can be picked up. It has a recipe in it. I don't know why it doesn't prompt you though because it makes you think it's just art when it's actually an item that can be picked up.

@@sophix8535 I watch TH-cam on my iPad and it’s harder to get to the correct spot I stopped at because of the smaller screen. I have to use the 10 sec skip button to get to the right spot once finishing moving it to the general area. It’s only for videos longer than 3 hours.
I am now obsessed with this game after watching this stream! (btw if you want to make dye, you need to squeeze the fish in the inventory menu).
