It's funny how I use this video more as a hairstyle tutorial since I already have Shinobu's hair it only needs a little changes it still works that way though

I’ll definitely follow this when it comes, it looks great. When I get the wig, it’ll be straight at the front so I’ll have to curl it and hope to not fail and create a mess lol

I have no experience in wigs and im gonna be shinobu for halloween this year! This video helps me so much but i also have a question. So idk if im gonna add to the bangs and stuff but with the extra hair do you think i could make like a fake ponytail with it? Idk if it would be possible and since im not just gonna be taking photos I dont want it to look too weird in the back. I just neef some advice on what to do there since people are gonna see the back of my head

I really appreciate this tutorial. It's gonna be very helpful for a beginner like me. Question, after you're done using the wig after a con, how do u wash it? Seems like a dumb question , but do would I restart the process again after washing it?
Can you wash the wig and is the wig still flexible also does it matter what kind of mod podge you use
Could I use the matte mod podge on the wig to keep it from having the glossy sheen look?

idk if this is a dumb question but would this still be okay if I just fixed the bangs and left the bun in the back? i’m a beginner so im afraid im going to ruin it
It’s absolutely okay! 😄 A lot of Shinobu Cosplayers I’ve seen (myself included) like to keep the bun in.
The cool thing about cosplay is that there really isn’t a right or wrong way to do anything, so you should go at your own pace, and do what you feel looks best and have fun with it!
Question: Is elmer's glue an okay substitution-? they dont sell any mod podge here ^^;
I know you probably don’t reply to comments on this video anymore but I’m case you do.. how do you secure it on your head? Especially with the modpodge helmet.. do you just rest it and pray it works or..? Is there a way to pin it down..?

Great video! But i have a question; where did you order the wig and how was the size? I ordered a wig from amazon that was supposed to be 50-60 cm and my head is 59 but it was too small and it didnt fit at all, im scared that most shinobu wigs are made for people with smaller heads soo im asking if anyone had similar problems
I must have bought at least 5 different shinobu wigs and they’re all too small for my head but when you are styling it you can wrap the hair lower then before to cover where your hair is showing

This is definitely a test of “trust the process” 💀 I’m at the step around 5:50, and now I’m worried I cut away too much hair on the top, as I’ve only got enough hair for maybe 2ish layers…
I’ll try to work with it more when I get home late, and I’ll update this comment if I ever make it work out into a good result-
(Also as a PSA to anybody following this tutorial: if you got your Shinobu Kocho wig from Amazon, be mindful your wig might have a little mesh around the crown area! My wig took FOREVER to cut down to the wefts because of this lmao)
Last month I purchased a Shinobu cosplay. I absolutely love it. The outfit is amazing and I have no complaints. I also bought Shinobu’s katana, but the thing is, the katana that I ordered, wasn’t her significant, but instead they sent me Mitsuri’s. I need the cosplay for only one day and it made me sad. 🥲 I can’t send it back, because it would take at least another month or two to just send the right one back. So, if anyone asks me, why do u have a Mitsuri one, instead of Shinobu one, I’m gonna tell: “Oh? This? Well… I stole Mitsuri’s bcs why not.” 😂

If your size is close to maybe 13-14 year-old sizes, it will fit you.

Hi i got my wig and for some reason the widows peak hairline looks horrible once on my head. It won’t stay down.. should I glue it or something???
Hi! Yes glue is a good way to keep the hair in place. Don’t be scared to pull out the e6000 or any clear craft glue. You can use cling wrap to protect your wig head from the glue. Hope this helped! Planning on posting more this year to cover wig styling tips!
@@Erinaxo Okay.. i read you can use got2B gel and spray as glue and i have both so i was gonna try that.. but craft glue directly on my skin would work better?
@@kayladay1385 I misread I’m so sorry. Yes use got to be spray and a hairdryer! That works for lacefronts as well

So let me explain to you: in Japan, the surame is in the front, while in the west, it's after the first name(s).
Therefore, both is correct. Not everyone has to be an insane weeb and do everything as the japanese people do.
